I’m feeling it coming back....
I totally go back to the roots, I found that this is what I like those days... its nice, and I find my-self listening mostly to Goa trance...
For example i listen those days to some cds like:
- Distance to Goa (4, 6, 10)
- Goa gill releases like, Forest of the saints & Towards the one
- Pigs in space, astral (the earlier stuff), Har-El, power source... and much more... 
All I can say is...

I've felt the same thing. A couple of the new albums being brought out defently have that old sound that I am used to. 
NP: Psypilot - Desination Future  Just one of the few that have those little sounds that have creeped back in.

I don't think all this is happening.
Goa is not about sounds... it's about an idea - and today's ideas are certainly far off from being goa.

some ideas might be far off from goa but there is always other ideas as well  .. as i know for sure. there is still people into it and producing it.. maybe todays ideas get too boring somtimes for some people...so why not do goatrance? no space for our roots? who said that it has to die?
anyway. i know an amazing artists from Transylvania still doing that kinda stuff..

i believe that the long awaited separation between the real thing (pure love for psychedelia and mystics) and the fetish is happening.
there is a real underground emerging again. the comeback of goatrance is only one element of this process.
i´d say that the main thing is that things go weird, psychedelic, spiritual, unpredictable/ adventurelike and emotional again.
to me there is such a great difference between boring so called progressive/ minimal/ techno stuff and the energising and totally spaced out sound of goatrance, weird darkpsy or dramatic cineastic soundcollages...
our psychedelic culture and the whole spiritual mind altering thing is one side.
the other side is the unidirectional , urban coolness that has nothing to do with magic.
those two have to be separated and they are doing it right now (at least that is what i´m experiencing here in south germany).
sorry to the club culture, the groove posse, the standardized full on lovers etc. but your thing is far away from "ours". i can understand you and i have great respect for those other styles, but it has to be something elese. Those styles are much more able to adapt to the masses and to normal club culture/ courtship behavior etc.

Quite frankly, a lot of the old goa-releases sounds horribly dated today, but a comeback for goatrance would be wonderful - and hopefully, with the help of new technology, with much better sound-quality and production DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase
