i think Starsounds Orchestra - Music for Qigong Dancing has got some of what you might call the "Goa" vibes... At the very least I can say it's the first trance in a good while that has sent chills up my spine.... I love it when beautiful music does that! |

but i didn't hear about a goa trance album which came out latley...

Goa will come beck when ppl will want to hear goa.
Thats what i think at list, If ppl will wanna hear goa in paties , will want to buy goa stle cds , Goa will be back cuuzzz ppl that make goa music will make some money and will have the motivetion of producing goa music, aS you might now say that money is really not part in goa idea money is the maein reson of almost every thing , WHen there want soo much money involved when the trance started goa was popular and now when theres some money involved with trance ,full(fucking) on is popular, thats cuzz i think ppl like to hear (dance i guess) to full on and thay but full on cds, and thay know full on artists and thay goa to full on parties, When this change and ppl will like goa artist buy goa stlyle cds, go to goa parties goa will be back.
Me i like goa music in the start i heared everything and didnt know what i hear ( it was nice i was stupid and happy i didnt care what music i heared in parties) after that i started hearing progressive, and after i heared goa (dont know why but it was 2 years after i started hearing trance, 2 mothns ago) THats all i hear now

I think that goa is always on our minds, I realise this whenever I listen to new tracks. My first hope is to hear space, echo, keyboard effects that are typically goan. And if I buy a CD it's always goa related.
I think that most people fresh to the scene are already getting tired of most modern sounds, bacause actually it's not trance. And if some guys insist it is, so it's not so good and uplifting as goa is.
Goa is a good pure energy in the form of sound waves. And the one who understand and keep it alive has a sensible and exquisite soul.

Whats kinda problematic with Goa is that many of the breakthrough albums were damn impressive in terms of complexity, trippyness and musical skills. I mean, how many artists outthere have really the skills to craft something like the first 2 Hallucinogen albums, or 'Trust in Trance 3' or 'IFO' or 'Lets Turn On'? Even those artists come nowhere near the old 'magic' nowadays. In case of Astral Projection its pretty pathetic what they delivered recently...
604 didn't really develop, it struck like lightning and amazing compositions poured down like a tropical rain for a very short time...
As for today...it’ll be a fine dry day.

Well Panzer, you are completely right. Nowadays most artists put a kicking drum over some irritating noises and call it trance. And very few artists have that deep sense of beauty that you are talking about. As for Astral Projection, I've heard they are supposed to release a new album this august, and you may expect they are going to make it good - because they've said in some interviews they take that their last releases were out of touch with modern goa sounds. For those wanting beautiful tracks, try KURO's "satisfaction" album, released this summer in Japan. Tracks 5,6, and 8 are just too good to be put in words, the rest of the tracks sounds a little experimental, not always so good as the ones above.

Don't talk all new sound bad. I like a lot of new stuff
that has 'a kicking drum over some irritating noises and call it trance', coz it is mostly much more psychedelic than other old skool stuff.
And i think most of the old astral projection stuff and other old goa sucks, coz it is to simple, to unpsychedelic, only uplifting stuff is not enough for my brain
The new Electric Universe album is cool, yes, but there is a lot cool other stuff around there.
And beautyness is very relativ. I like uplifting music to and i like good goa like spacetribe, but i like also real psychedelic trance, with a lot of noise and weird stuff, and powerfull energy.

I'm sorry, I guess if it doesn't have noise and weird stuff except synths that make melodic phrases - it's too simple.
One thing I gotta tell you... simplicty is the last thing that I can say about goa music and about its ideas, in contrast of today's 'extremely complex' trance music.
and again about the 'goa' sound today.... almost no one is making it... 99% of them.
Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

But it is not only my, i have to thanks my family and friends for their support all the time.
And thanks goes to this forum also great support, here a special thanks to the isratrance team for their great work.
I am glad to have archive this in such a short time.
BUT I think i have misexpressed me, simplicty is perhaps not the right word in this context.
You are right, i think it is more the incomplexity
It is a matter of taste, what we like and what fit to our brains, so peace and love and psytrance and goa ...
BTW were i life, here in western germany most people doesn't see any differences between goa, psytrance, isratrance, porgressive or any other things like that, i don't know why
???

Well EYB dude, there's something easy to infer from your comments on goa trance: you are new to the scene, no more than 5 years old. So you may have heard old goa tracks, but you didn't live it, hence you can't understand it.
But as you said, it's a question of taste. And I have a lot of German friends who indeed love Goa. I guess you love israeli full-on...am I right?
Well, I am glad you didn'd say my name on this special occasion. You being awarded, I mean. Just a joke.
