What surrender said is right. Give us these lil bonuses from purchasing the cds and you can be sure we will be buying them or returning to labels. The labels have to ask themselves on how they can make people buy the cds. They can start off my giving lil rewards in return.
Another example of lil bonuses comes from TIMECODE records, i bought the recent release "firewall" and it came with 3 cardboard like and "looks -kinda -laminated" dj sleeve which is very helpful (the sleeves made of paper are so fragile)
Labels have to find a way to make listeners buy their records. I could suggest "Label - Points" For example: For every 5 cds or ten cds, the labels will give the users in return a lil goodie for purchasing their cd. Just mail in proof of purchase (sleeves?) or some sort of paper in the cd which shows proof of purchase. These bonuses could be maybe a set of stickers, a mini cd case?

No man... no need for "bonuses" or other crap. Just sell it the right way and ill buy it. Let me prelisten to the whole track, low quality no problem, and if ill like *that* track, ill buy *that* one. Thats it. Id pay up to 1-2 euro per track. No "albums". Electronically delivery. Fast servers. Up to PCM quality. Basta.

iam a little late on this topic............but sadly i dont see any end to the mp3 problem because say even if u remove all sources of mp3s from the net, the trade will continue between ppl and friends eg. one guys buys the cds gives to friend to listen and friend copies it for himself (its a never ending chain)..........and regarding unreleased stuff on the net guys its obvious that ppl will download that stuff cos its fresh direct from the artist and is not available commercially (ppl love new stuff)........correct me if iam wrong
