And what does him being a westerner/american have to do with him being spiritual or not? Or are you saying that the mere fact that he was born an American makes him incapable of becoming spiritual like the Indian born Sadhus? Sorry but that jive doesn't make sense to me AT ALL. Or then how is him being a westerner relevant to anything you guys are saying here? |

-You never book another Dj after Chuck or before. You just don't.

since when has physical proximity had anything to do with spiritual insight? i know lots of people in india who know a lot more about brad pitt's kid's latest style statement... being a westerner doesn't necessarily make one oblivious to spiritual understanding.

heres what ive been trying to say:
to me his public image seems like some poor westerners lost soul from where ever he comes got his way out into the market selling himself as some spiritual holy man. end of.
and yes, in general, i do find that westerners suck when it comes to spirituality, if id have to chose between someone, whos been born and living in india for whole his life learning and teaching wisdom and knowledge between acid-fried westerner that came there "couple of years ago" i most likely would go for that indian one. not sure that he would speak to me tho  this all glorification of a simple man and will to turn his image into some sort of super spiritual human being that floats above all this shit is just plain stupid. that guy is not unique, so what he took some religion or its attributes and now plays with them at psy parties, does it make him boom killargh sadhu now? lol, you people dont need alot to buy this shit, just buy it 
btw, i dont know goa gil in personal, im just talking from how i see and feel this personal image basing my opinion on information available in public space. as the rest of us i guess |

Goa Gil owns, enjoy his music, enjoy his vibe, enjoy his smile and dance to his music and stomp da floor in his parties, the guy is a legend, I admire him spiritual, comercial or whatever LABEL you wanna put on him, the guy is awesome, PAY RESPECT TO YOUR ELDERS! and my god he truly is an icon to the Psy Scene.
He charges the money he freakin earns! it takes hard work to do what he does and he trys to do it the best he can, he drives his parties with blasting energy and living and dancing a GOA GIL experience is fuckin FUN! its a hell of a ride, so enjoy it and feel good that we have him here with us, cause when hes gone youll miss him! PEACE!. |
