will check on monitors when i can,there is sometimes something in the mid highs on massive that i don t like..dunno if i m only one?
do you use the saturation in fx section? i find it can give good result |

i'v used massive a lot in my older tracks, but for me et doesn't sound clicky enough, something with attack i guess, but i really like the sound of the saw's though. maybe i should try out that performer thing |

i think it s cause the envelops attack are linear..but yeah attack is rounded smoothed when cheking on oscilloscope. the phase reset somewhere more clicky could help |

think this should be obvious enough. some people here claim that VB-1 is "lofi" or "old", without really contributing much to sustain such claims. I didn't raise the issue, someone else did.
if it sounds better, it's better. but many times people think it sounds better just because it sounds louder or more agressive.
the topic here is VB-1, right? I was talking about it, wasn't the one attacking it and deviating into - just another one out of thousands - of gear stlutz like endless and pointless conversations about what people like to use for Bass. said it all along: it's a matter of taste, you can use whatever you want, some chains may seem to sound better, but are actually fucking up in a lot of places (if you don't care, fine! not my music anyway!); what's more? impossible to sound good with VB-1? there's better music made using it then anything you'll ever come up with, isn't that so?
and tell me please... people here with golden ears, able to ear artifacts in almost any synthesizer. can you even picture how fucking ridiculous that is? Urs Heckman doesn't spot this, but all hail mr "I read gear slutz a lot" for being able to ear it, though only providing highly subjective claims.
so, let's see: if it sounds better, it's better. if you think so, then it must be true to, no? that's cool. but if you want to have a discussion here, try and be honest and not quote me out of context. rant over

trilogy has terrable artifacts... its why its a dam good job they included the sample start nipple....

he probably means the quality of which it was recorded in..... sawtooth quality , the quality of the sound waves
in the same way i dont like Albinos Sawtooth nor do i its flappy filters....
so nuthing about "Placebo" because i actually like the GUI on albino |

realtime,, oh ok then maybe the generators lol or orrrrrr would how good or expensive your Audio interface and the sample rates could makea difference in how the Osc sounds? vary to peep to people ...

what do u mean? in the same way an expensive graphics card would display graphics better...
i remember when i first bought an audio interface and hearing the absolute difference in quality ! so mayb poms got an audiophile worth £45
so mayb vb1 would sound heaven in say a card worth £500 inside the sound of a pair of Sennihizer HD650'S
