lol only in this psy scene would there be so many negative reviews. out of all the bs released in psy you all feel it necessary to talk shit about a cd compiled by one of the founders of the scene who decided to put together an underground darkpsy tracklist. is that really what compells you to post negative comments on isratrace?
were you hoping for alien mental, kindzadza, orestis, polyphonia, and zik? you should probably try any other darkpsy compilation.

i agree with psyko
methinks only in the psy scene do ppl rave and rant about everything and block out all criticism as 'negativity'.
and art must always be independent of the artist..we cant call this a masterpiece just coz gil compiled it..
hell even huxley, mckenna, kerouac, ginsberg have faced criticism and pretty valid ones too..

this 3 tracks didnt match at all with the mix.. if Gil changed that 3 tracks for another ones (we know what type of tracks im talkin about ), the mix wouldnt dissapointed me cuz the rest of the tracks are very powerful and psychedelic as the other Goa Gil mixes  . Also, i think that too much people know Furious could contribute with another amazing track than this one, im not saying this track its not cool, its cool but doesnt match like other track would it do. Khaos Sektor vs K-Lapso track its ok  but not enough to me for being in a Goa Gil mix; passing to the last track mentioned on the quotation, F.E.G. its horrible  (i liked very much other F.E.G. tracks but this its too damn bad  ).
Anyways its Gil's choice and we have to respect it. 
Big respect to all artists in this compilation
Its just my personal opinion. Dont take it personal.

Its quite possible the music featured on kali yug chosen by gil was done so keeping in mind that it should be representation of the troubled times we live in and goa gil had set him self out to mix them in a way that we feel the essence of the pathetic chaos ,lack of clarity, strife and discord the world has descended into. A shit set of tracks mixed in a shitty way ending in the shittiest way possible; an apt testimony of the shit times we currently live in
All in all a purpose that seems well achieved

Golden hit, man! This compilation has a powerful idea of Kali-yuga - the dark age of humanity. If you get this idea, you'll understand the whole compilation and ALL tracks would sound properly, including Far East Ghost's theme.
Actually, this IS NOT my favorite Goa Gil's compilation and I can't listen it very often, but sometimes I have a nasty mood, so I need something like Baphomet engine or Kali-yuga:) |
