No offence mate! Just elaborating on your post.
Psytrance structure over 160 doesnt have any sense, you are correct here. Over 160 you need other technique of sound manipulation (talking hardcore, speedcore, grindcore, noisecore). Psychedelia can be achived with not strictly Psytrance structure of a track. These other extrame music genres, apart from psytrance as i said, lay on composition instead of randomized flying samples here and there.
This disk has quite a few tracks based on fusion and have one theme. Missing psytrance variation of sounds is not boring as you said, it means you are not a techno fan. Psytrance is tripping, techno is power.
And yes many people nowadays are in the high speed trend, but it seems they got it all wrong, making hilarious sounding psytrance. Why does it sound hilarious? Because if you listened to psytrance in the last 8 years (138-160), the thing you will hear now will sound pitched up afterwards, not actually made for that speed, doesnt correspond with the speed.
After all remember: GOA has evolved from ACID techno, evolution is trigonometric function (in order to keep the oscilation balance), it will return to the same function value after a period of oscilation.

amen volvox.
also another thing to consider is that most of the new gabber is at a slower pace at 150. psytrance has been at the brink of hardcore for a while now, i really dont see where the line should be drawn. there are a lot of genres that can be branched under hardcore but there are so many different styles that can be put under that label (anything from prodigy to cosmo to dnb) that it really becomes a useless word in the sense of classification. i mean tabla music goes much faster than any of the tracks on this cd but its not exactly what i think of when i think of hardcore.

the point is you should be more focused on the sounds and not so much focused on what genre it makes. it is easy for you to say you dont like it because of the bpm it is at but really listen to the music and youll find that is not the bpm that makes it sound fast. i dont recall anyone calling psykosvky or osom gabber.

Industrial, hardcore, techno are as respected as psytrance, even if they lack the 1000 samples. And this CD like it seems is made only to melt music boundaries between the upper mentioned genres.

I agree with the ones here that say psytrance above 160 bpm starts to sound like shit. And you talk about hardcore not having a lot of samples? As a regular listener of hardcore I have to disagree. Hardcore goes even more with sampling IMO. Listen to stuff like Negative A, E-Noid, Headbanger, Nosferatu, Art Of Fighters and many others. They have lots of samples in hardcore.

Anyway, about this release. It has some ok tracks but most of it doesn't manage to interest me a whole lot. There's tons of releases out at the moment and far better ones than this.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. Only pop release can satisfy most of listeners and users. This CD isn't one of those, so different reactions are natural. Tastes are differ. Some people are simply limited in their tastes. It's ok.
Also what have u expected from this tracklist? New wave of melodic fullon core or stereotype psytrance release with label "experimental" on it?
As Acidhive said: "There's tons of releases out at the moment". Yea, most of psytrance releases are conveyor system factory results. There're always wide choice of goods. Enjoy.
Finally, if CD haven't got disputes around it, then it means that it passed by and didn't touched listeners mind. Same as about literature, movies etc.

I think todays Psytrance scene and im talking about the Psytrance Market, it has been infested with pure CRAP this past years, specially the last... and CRAP just seems to be piling up and up and up, this happens cause we have factory music now, factory music is when labels just need to put out something and they pick an artist, or they have signed him to do so, or wuteva the reason is, but the music is made in some how "ARTIFICIAL" way. And Thats When It All Starts To Go WRONG.

Were filled with trash music, boring full on, the same samples same breaks and power basslines that make people go wooohooo and then we have the darkpsy stuff that people just somehow tend to do some none balance and distorted saturated things that really just get boring. The thing is, that we do know that Psytrance is almost shit now, true artists are rare and good music is even more rare but innovating artists takin evolution to their hands is something we never see, and this is an album where you can see some of them.

Personally I dislike noize, I appreciate the ideas and the mindfuckin, and I enjoyed the Smoke Plastic track from infekt insekt alot, and o also found myself very impressed after reading his posts,(Good job on that mate!), but really its not like I can stand listening to that kind of music for one whole hour, but when you get an entire album that starts somewhere and then it takes u away and leaves u off in another plae when it ends, YOU HAVE to appreciate that. Of course this is hard music, look at the tracklist u gotta know ur gettin into something really messy, its obvious!... and really I think this is by far the most dark album on 2007, i think its genious, some tracks just blew me the fuck away, like Acid Goblins, Enichkin, Gorump Peyya, its pure madness!. To understand this music u have to understand the mind that created that music and to understand that mind you have to open YOUR mind and experience the track with no pre judgement nor prior feelings atached, just smoke one and let go, dont be afraid, let your mind do the maze, when you acomplish that FULLY!! U will be able to enjoy new ideas and weird stuff ahead in life not only in music.

Some tracks I still find that are missing something or alot, they stay in one place for a long time and seem to get confused by themselfs and that tends to get boring. But I think this road is only beggining I can only imagine how an album from this label will sound in a few years. A word of advice here i think that for making this music you have to really focus fully on the listener and how to convince him to explore the sound and not repel him, more BPM well then less layers of sounds and more intelligent ideas to still make MUSIC, dont make yourself a madman ona computer but become a a mad doctor doin surgery on a brain, or a mad scientis makin a deadfull poison, not only giving a mindfuck and discharging emotions in such profound harsh way, but also guiding and trying to somehow connect the rythm to the brain and to wichever feeling you are trying to provoke. That is something that the Twisted Minds From Hell albums from Mexico really need to focus, because that shit is REALLY MAD.

Musically this album can sound low quality for alot of people, but you gotta understand that this is something new, obscure, you will navigate the most far regions of your mind with this, so be aware! dont try judding and reviewing the album like others because its not. And of courseeeee, not everyoness gonna like this! WOOOOHOOOO thats the freakin idea! UNDA GROUNDA STYLE! its better that way

Congratulations all of you mad people, like Infekt said, is it noize or REAL PSYCHEDELIA? try trippin hard on it, the anwser is clearly there. PEACE 2 ALL!.

Hehe... this was an funny discussion...

I will not try to explain anything about how it should sound to be that or this style, about bpm etc etc... everyone has their personal opinion... but I can tell you a little story of my track ;P

I just experimented with some new shit so I could learn a few new things... I need to experiment and try out different things to envolve. I´m getting to bored of doing the same thing all over again and thought it would be fun to try something different. Don´t know the style of my sound and couldn´t care less either... I make "music" purely for the fun sake and I´m honoured I got the chance to be in this crazy VA =)

Best regards,
