Review:
Track 01:
The first impression of this song for me was “wow, strange thing is that”, but when the minutes pass, the song gets you into a Trip you never forgot. Dn2d’s not a known name but was pretty intense the sensation of like. The song comes with strong and strange beat, that bring us a new psychedelic style… the rest is up to yourselves hearing this song

Track 02:
Well, what can we say when we heard Acid Goblins (man, he rocks), the style and experience of Acid Goblins comes out when you heard this tune, really mad beat, psychotic sounds… well, what else we can expect from Acid Goblins.

Track 03:
Really strange disk is this… comes with a Trip, then change into another totally different one, and comes out Tes with this tune… It’s track #3 and my head was already in another dimension of psychedelic experience… hard beats but not usual one.

Track 04:
Once again Gorump Peyya doit again, this masterpiece of psychedelic art drills your ears with the hardcore bass line, laughing of your poor head turning around in circles, without knowing what else to do. Nice work from Mr. Peyya.

Track 05:
This disk doesn’t stop to amazing me, the names (but more important of that, the songs), a great trip for a dark psychedelic user… enjoy

Track 06:
Dark sound to death, nothing more to say of this one…

Track 07:
Want to dance? Try with this tune, it comes strong and it stays with increasing power, relying on a dark beat, a lot of beat grinds and hardcore sounds, the crazy guy not release your soul until it finished.

Track 08:
Infect Insect always gonna be one of my favorites, and in this song reminds me how good it is, acid equalization, faster beat than ever, live angry to die satisfied with this song.

Track 09:
Raise your aura, sit, relax and… boom!!! The last song kick ass, transporting you into another dimension, the Ezotera dimension, release your anger with this anti natural song, Sky High with this killer finisher…

I´ve never been into all those Darkpsy discussions, but...can this still be considered as "Trance" or just as "Noise"? I´ve only listened to the samples at psyshop, and especially the tracks Mind Tears and Tattwa to me only seem like a steady squeeking random noise....

Not that i wanted to bash your Killargh style....but....if this is the evolution of psy, where will we be heading to? Undancable 250 bpm Killargh Gabber?

killer stuff

my favs are also 5,6,7
mind tears is not noise, it is just brilliant
tattwa could be considered noise, if you cant hear the melody (yes there is one its not random noise)

lol nextworld interesting point. maybe i can clear things up for you.

generally if something isn't on a chromatic scale or isn't melodic it can be refered to as noise or dark (from what ive seen). i dont see where the line is drawn between psysounds and noisesounds. melody can be psychedelic to some people but i feel a lot of psy sounds (depending on the type of psy) arent on a chromatic scale (you cannot make out which notes are being hit).

as for the gabber bit, it is understandable to associate hardcore with gabber but you should keep in mind the genre hard trance. hardtrance isnt gabber because it is just fast trance and imo is solely diff due to it not having a gabber kick.

if you dont know what a gabber kick is then listen to #6 on this album. that is a real gabberpsy track

I really love dark, twisted and sick Psy but when the bpm are over 160 then it starts to sound funny.
After all most of the tracks here are boring.

Oh and don't forget: Faster doesn't mean harder nor sicker.
150 bpm is great for this kind of music. 170 is good only for gabba.

No offense.

todays psytrance (dark) -> a bunch of usually not well arranged samples thrown one over the other runing over basslines shifts. Ohh what a music, wheres ur composition mate? I call this lack of thematics music.
Lots of samples is not psychedelic, its a lack of composition skills. 20 bassline patterns and 100 morphs between them in a track is not psychedelic, its unableness to do a single basic song structure that will have the desired effect and keep the listener interested during the track. We are getting away from music here, alternating, to pretend we listen to psychedelic! Theres tracks like these in this cd too.

other music -> since classical age tracks have thematics. You hear the whole track and you know this ONE thematic is here, the composer knew what to compose, he had a clear idea about it. Almmost in every music rhythm stands behind, its a backholder of the track, the groove adder. No need to pump it out in front of the rest of the song actually, to make people dance. Thats lack of composition power, darkpsy alternates with hard basskick, alternating composition with hitting, to gain power to the track.
Why did Goa had the power without hard kick and almost no bass at all?

Bethoven, Mozart, Vangelis, Jarre all boring, all. Tracks have variation of same wave shape from start to end, same rhythm, what a boring assholes they lack the psychedelia.
Now test your words man, is it random sampling and alternating you are listening to, or real psychedelia.
Constant appearence of random samples is not psychedelia. If i mix 30 madona tracks in one, then i suppose madona becomes psychedelic, no?

If you are not into repetitive music thats other thing.
Industrial, hardcore, techno are as respected as psytrance, even if they lack the 1000 samples. And this CD like it seems is made only to melt music boundaries between the upper mentioned genres.

and the speed, you listen to the speed and intensity of your life. Have a cake, and listen to some progressive, im sure that is far more interesting.

One of my favorite psytrance releases psykovsky - debut , or even ScatterBrain - Inf Ang, wouldnt be the same without those classics samples inside, even if the guys have great technical skills.
I personaly never stole a broken sample, nor even a drum nor even a snare, but thats a personal phylosophy, i do the music for me and my clones, i dont hit massmarkets.

Now, since when a longterm soulseek trader became a total psytrance analyst? You guys are the one responsible for the psy situation today, the lack of quality, and the death of real artists and real psychedelia.

Offended? Dont be.

I hope Infect that you're not talking about my post. I don't want to sound as a wise ass but I was into extreme-underground music before you've even born! (I'm pretty old)

You said about Progressive, about what true Psy means etc.
When did I say that I like Progressive or dislike twisted Psy? I was the first that some years ago shouting for more power or psychedelia (although Goa still is the best).
Psykovsky, Osom, Derango, The Nommos are some of my FAVORITE artists.

I talked about the SPEED. When the speed is faster than 160 bpm then I lose the ''synchronization'' between the mind and the music, and I'm talking about myself!

Please next time read the posts carefully, hugs!
