I think its a very good compilation! The first track is little to housy for me, but i like the melody a lot. The second track (electric tease) is realy groovy, nice percussions & bongos
My favorite is:
kooler - freefall! Very nice track! !
I like the electrobongos and the specially melody very much. Very groovy track. One of the best track 2003 for me.

I was searching for pre-release comments on the kooler album when I found this topic from christmas.
It was great to see so much support for the compilation and especially for Kooler "Freefall" and the forthcoming album.
Yesterday the first test pressings of the "Freefall" vinyl single went out (with the abakus prog breaks mix on the other side) as a sampler for the album. Many of you will be interested in this release which comes very soon. We have already had excellent response to these tracks which are bringing the work of both Kooler and Abakus to a wider audience.

Hey Henry, when is the official release for the Kooler 12"? I want to make sure the local record store to get it before it sells out.

Kooler 12" is sceduled for 19/04/04. Great Dj response so far - and we are looking to release a double 12" of the album with two remixes as well. |

Dangit! Way to keep us waiting in anticipation. 
(note: sell advance copies on the D'fly site for us impatient folk!!! )
I've been seeing the Shiloh remix of Abakus pushed like hell by Steve Gerrard. It's for this sound to finally get out to wider audiences!

We have run out of advance copies but fear not Krelm, these tracks are not going to dissappear. If you want to have a listen to the shiloh remix it is on the steven gerrard show downloads for radio 1 in london (try a google search, if I find it I'll put it up here).
I think you'll be surpirised by what you hear. Its a very unusual track. |
