the Drift remix is quite nice (if it's the same one as on Adham's site)... a dub version that gives new majesty to the original. The rest of the samples on Saikosounds are promising also.. Gotta love that lounge sound, spiked with a few drops of psychedelic liquid!

yup, just ordered. Most of these names are new to me, but as traveller says, you can always rely on Interchill. Human Blue and Mystical Sun tracks sound lush. Actually most of them do! Order from chaos and get it on the 28th !!

My friend got the promo and he lended it to me... so nice of him! I got a sneak peak to set me in the mood for the coming weekend...

Once again a fine release from Interchill. What to say... supersmooth music with lots of interesting things going on... great overall mood... not much analysis here, I just love what I hear!

Great Compilation, the Human Blue Track on it is absolute awesome!

I´m already curious about the full-lenght Human Blue album on Chillcode.

Coool Nice responses... granted its only been out there a few weeks. ;-)
I'm curious to know in what type of environment you most enjoy listening to the album. Be it a car... after dinner, in headphones in a dark room, or morning, etc. The concept of Earth Octave Lounge is to explore the potential in each of these varied environments and have listeners subtly awaken to the music. Its because Lounge music generally speaking has a dual role - to be harmonious and engaging, yet subtle and non imposing. This album definetely feels more profound in many senses than I originally anticipated. I'm already imagining what Vol 3 could sound like.
Enjoy!

Gordon,

I enjoyed the first Earth Octave Lounge the most while driving home for 3 hours after the Oracle Gathering in Seattle, coming down ... We were giving a lift to a friendly stranger dressed in a silvery space suit, watching the sun rise over the lush green forests of the Pacific NW - with a soundtrack of trippy lounge grooves. It really took the edge off!

looking forward to Volume 2, it sounds way better.

I am enjoying this very much; found this very comforting to wake up to this morning! It seems Interchill have slowed the pace a bit since Gaudi and Kaya Project, this compilation seeps wellness and serenity to all corners of the brain. After a couple of listens a few tracks stand out, noticeably Human Blue with another down-tempo journey - sexy slow depth and catchy beats. Also an absolute winner chiller from Mystical Sun, a truly mystcial wandering picnic into the quieter recesses of your psyche...

Very much recommended.            - - It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice... - -
