Paul. I will only stop it when all DJ's will beatmix (or will not call themselves DJ, won't try to play at parties etc...) and when there will be no music piracy. |

did anyone noticed the topic started with "unreleased" and came to beatmixing and piracy .
i think dj has to know all the tools in order to give the ppl what they want, and ppl here is what's important, a lot of dj's and organizers forget that ,because without ppl there is no party ! no matter how good you are .
about piracy i would be against it as well if the artist would get the money and not some fat, bald idiot in a leather chair, who knows nothing about the music and doesn't give a flying f*ck about it .
sorry if i got carried away .
i think music (any music) was intended to be free.

U have to beat mix to Dj, because otherwise it is impossible to create a unique sound u are just playing records. ALL the big name Djs beatmix-FACT!!! |

Heya DJ's!!!
Please don't tell me that unreleased music is not important!!!
I agree that dj must know mixing and stuff but still GOOD DJ IS WHO HAS A UNIQUE MUSIC!
When I hear Dede or Gidi etc.. I don't want to hear some tracks that i hear everyday at home.
I want to hear something new!
But the problem is that only BigNameDJ's have the GoodUnreleased stuff,
and those home-made-MD-dj's are collecting shitty unreleased tracks.
Every track (if it's good) will be released!
I made couple of parties and saw that djDede,that i think he's the best in israel, playing with original CD's!!!
So he got them before they will be in the shop.
But I know - if i see Dede on the flyer I sure that 90% of the tracks are new and most important GOOD!!!

10x Roman, but nothing is wrong with released stuff .
I play in my sets 70% of fresh unreleased(Good sound only) music.
And the rest is released favs.

i do same like my friend nir and i agree with roman at this point cuz i am bored with same music with cd in party. i just came back from party of hux flux and johan of logic bomb and s-range outdoor one, and johan played mostly unrel stuff of logoc as i saw, that made ppl really mad but anton of s-range did his set with half relaesed and unrel sa i saw. and i was really bored with his play. their technique is undoubtly good but i got bored that is it
i dont know but all of my friends in the world r going party for surprise of new music. i know it doesnt have to be unreleased but can u give nice surprise to ppl on the dance floor with all released tracks?? that is what i think unreleased is not so unimportant. |

Dude!! I'll be amazed if you know all the released tracks in the world. I pick up about 3 records every week that don't come from Trance labels that I can surely play in trance sets. plus all the trance stuff that is released weekly, and the older, but still not that well known stuff. so that there is o problem with only released music. |

yes without released music there r no unreleases.
got a point? nothing wrong and bad about released music. we do for dancers on the floor so we should listen what they think, that is it :)

You right , man!
Today you can find cool released stuff that no one heared about it.
And not every album that has been released in Europe,Australia,Japan,USA comes to Israel.
I'm not talking about vinyls.
But when you got some track that you playing it allmost a year and then you see it on some cool new compilation of Hadshot or MDMA or ....
