makis, I'm in Costa Rica, and I'm thinking of going to that party too. There is a way of going down in bus until the middle of Panamá, but there's no road that connects Panamá with Colombia, so at least one plane has to be taken.

The other possibilities, if you look at a world map and consider there's the Amazon forest (I don't know if you can cross that in a bus, I don't think so), are either to take a boat from Panamá to Maracaibo (Venezuela), go thru the 3 Guyanas, and then take a huge boat trip to where the party is.

Or, take a boat from Panamá to Ecuador, then go thru Peru, Bolivia and across Brazil, which I'm sure is really beautiful, although it can take quite a while.

Anyway, e-mail me, maybe we can arrange something and take the trip together.

Cheers,
Nico. guru@transelastica.com

Easy to get a bus to Salvador from Sao Paulo (about 24 hrs. if I remember correctly) or a flight (expensive)

Bus I bet the thellas bus will be going there and maybe other buses too - from Sao Paulo straight to the party

The chances of me getting there are getting smaller by the day... bad bad bad....

Please REMOVE my cellphone number from any SMS spam list you may have. Thanks.

Yeah I have no problem flying to salvador. But then? Has anyone herd of a bus going to the party or should I just rent a car? How far is it from Salvador to the party?

Cheers

Makis,

I've heard something about an official transportation from Salvador to the party however I don't know about the details.

Another option is taking the ferry boat from Salvador to the city of Bom Despacho and then from Bom Despacho, you can go by bus to the city of Ituberá, which is about 29 km from the beach where the party will happen.
This way, it will take you about 4 or 5 hours from Salvador to the party.

Surely you can rent a car too and that will probably be a bit faster.
