as Drope said, after last new years festival I was pissed off but, But know I only have good memories from it.
And concerning the next universo parello, Brentel is right about being in bahia, and if I'm not wrong it will be in trancoso (great place) it is like alto paraiso but in bahia.
IMO this is a great decision universo parello is taking because alto paraiso in new years is to much rain while bahia will be sunny 24/7

Sorry Neutron,
Although I think the festival on the beach is a great idea, I have to disagree with your sunny Bahia 24/7 at that time of the year.
I spent my last New Year's Eve in Bahia and it rained a lot. I wasn't exactly in Trancoso but I wasn't too far from there either.
I guess it's just a characteristic of the Brazilian summer to rain during the season!  |

Carol, if you were their on new years you must be right then  I just got back from their last week and it was raining as well so I guessed that on towards new years it would be sunny obivously wrong hahaha.
Well, if it ends up to be on the beach for real it would be great especially after what happend to celebra.
Badalhoquinha, don't know if it will be in paraty since what happend to the problems with the goverment 'NO raves in paraty anymore'
But would it make a real difference if it changed places? cuz in Rio is also raining during that time isn't it?

For sure Neutron........n e way,i think government would cause trouble if it was in Rio.......just like it´s happening to lots of parties there.....

PP aren't crazy enough to bring it to Rio... hehe
I still say Ilhéus, not a overknown trance scene, tropical paradise... but that´s not oficial yet...
Badalhoquinha, I once saw a picture from Thailand and I could swear it was Ilha Grande, RJ...
I only know what I heard from scene pp... but yet, they usually r way more wasted then us hehehe...

And it RAINS... But rain is good... Is mother earth remembering us we r living organisms and we need water... or just a natural complement and nurishment, comparing us to the trees and plants and flowers that will also be dancing cause of the WIND... yep much wind from about 11:00 till about 15:00... Ilhéus... see u there pp

Hey Carol, sup?
Well, i've been to Bahia for the past three years for the new year's holiday, and the 01/02 one was the only rainy one...coz it rained all over Brasil.
Lats year i was at Boipeba Island and it was a blue clear sky new years'eve.
So the weather is usually good at Bahia at this time of year and probably this year won't be different, if rains...is just for a couple of hours and than it is gone.
Universo Paralelo there will kick some fat asses and i'll be there as usual!

Well Aurum, indeed it did not rain 24/7, although it did rain a lot at different parts of the day where I was.....
Anyways, let's hope it doesn't rain but in case it does, just as Drope said:

So, it doesn't matter whether it rains or not, just to have the chance to enjoy the festival at the beach is a really great thing!

Confirmed!The festival will take place in an island of Bahia....they just didnt give the name of the island yet......

Can anyone confirm if Boiopeba Island(Beside Morro de São Paulo) is the place where the festival is gonna be? That´s the last information I had.
Is this Island a good place for the festival?

Well, the pictures i saw @ the site really looks like Boipeba Island. I'm not sure, but it looks like that place (i've been there).
If it is a good place for a trance party? Hmmmm, imho: NO.
That island is a very "untouched" place, with the most beautiful landscape i've ever seen in my whole life. People there are very friendly and they really care 'bout their island. The house where i stayed while i was there was from the founder of the Boipeba Island Freinds Association and i would say he wouldn't be happy with this event there.
It would be just the place for a trance party if people had a little more conciousness about enviroment preservation. Thats the reason why i think it will not be a good idea for that island. But anyway, i'll be there no matter what. If there will be a trance party....what a lucky guy i am
