And then you tell me I'm the one with the wise-ass answers.

I gave your answer twice! Maybe not the one you wanted, but that's just the way it is...somethings you don't learn from others, you have to experience it by yourself...got it?

I never expected you to get the point in the first place, you don't have the feeling...

And pal, as I said yesterday, think a little bit more before writing, as far as I remember the one who was ofending people for nothing (foundue & Beverly Hills) around here was you!

the underground parties are the best vibes, like a ITAMONTE 2001, the playboys from my city (belo horizonte), don't know underground scene,( and this is good to all freaks ........) , and any man if have a 3 a 5 cds thinks "im a dj " hahahahaahahah , they don't know nothing about a dj , they don't have a respect, a union, don't know nothing about the trance culture and create a EGO WAR , they don't know nothing and still thinking if are a great and famous djs

Well, organizers in Brazil face a few big problems that don't happen in the other places around the world. The big bucks of the commercial organizers in the US and Japan are unmatched in the rest of the world, but the flight ticket prices are still high.

People should just remember what parties are all about. Not 1000 people and Dimitri blasting away. It's about a group of people that when the sun rises, and you see everyone around you, they're colorful and similing with a good vibe. Some good music, and a nice atmosphere.

People who care about names and numbers are the commercial people. With all due respect, I'd prefer a party with 300 people in a good place with some local DJs to a 2000 people rave with Raja Ram (as much as I respect him), because I want the people around me to come for the music first, not for the big event. The VIBE. That's what people remember from a party the most. And that's what organizers forget.

If you know that an organizer will bring a real trance crowd (not clubbers and other e-tards), a decent soundsystem, and some good (not necessarily famous) DJs/acts every time, the crowd WILL follow.

Then again, not all organizers can pull this off. My two cents.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

Let me give one little statement about all this..
First I think that about the VIP problem, the party organizers should discuss it together and decrease dramatically the VIP numbers, only people who work with it or provide any professional aid to it should be VIP.
About Underground X Comercial..
I dont give a fuck to what the purpose of the organizer is, if the music is good, the crowd has a good vibe, there is good infra..thats it..nice party!
Ya know...In my opinion A killer underground scene is almost impossible...about brazilian old underground scene..thats stupid, I remember the first parties, the beginning of goa trance parties in Sao PAulo haha....very underground huh? 100,200 people who knew a lot about Hindu stuff and absolutely nothing about the music besides one or two djs only! Well, it didnt change that much really hehehe

I think that Brazil`s scene needs dramatically a good trance releases distribution (people need to buy trance) and more development of labeling also, unfortunently those things need money but...           Pure Evil Is As Pure As Innocence! >;[

Trance scene is a baby. Also, is formed mainly by what I call the "1968 generation born in 1984" who does not have any sort of music background nor music influences despite of FM radio crap stuff, previously than listening to Trance. So this discussion "underground or not underground" is totally useless as most of the trance -heads today have never been to an underground scene nor have ever experienced how it feels like to consider a most successful event one which 20 ppl attended....

Once you have been through different kinds of parties and music scenes you shall instantly recognize certain basic aspects such as:

1. Not everyone can/need to be a DJ or a party organizer. What happens now is there are to many DJs (so as a self-proclaimed DJ I want to be VIP).

2. Seth is right. The efforts on the scene should be focused on music labels/distribution/production rather than only DJing/party organising. However it is quite unfeasible for a 18 y.o. lad to endeavour in such a hard and time-consuming task, that also involves much more than burning a couple of CDRs or having a party in the pub next door.

My 2 cents...           *fuckthewar.com*
