U.K. needs some dark twisted culture

there are many killer festivals and events
around the U.K. but i never find in the line
up artists of night music, which are many
high top ones like parasense, fungus funk,
para halu, kin dza dza, penta, naked tourist
and many others... why that??? it's only
place for morning and prog culture here???
and remember; night time is for night music.
U.K. organisers please help me out!!!

I second that.
I'm serious. I spent all summer in the UK last year looking for even ONE party with the sort of music i like. I heard that Parasense and Fungus played earlier this year in London  sadly i was back home in India by then.
SO...come on...Organizers!!!!!! Im moving to England in a few weeks, and my biggest worry is not getting to hear the artists I really want to.
and to everybody else, why do you dudes think it's so hard to catch either danish/russian/stuff like this music in London, or around??

hmmm i slightly disagree with your guys's point, this summer was packed with good night time acts and we are in for a killer winter season of great artist coming to london, check accessallareas.org for big events and the psyforum.co.uk for the more lo key underground parties im sure ull find the night time music u want to hear. |

The Night Is Young...
Come on people, so much full-on music around the parties, just to MUCH!
I find that the smaller parties seem to have realized the importance of progressive music combined with full on.
having tracks pounding away @ 146BPM all night long and all day long is just to much.
Don't forget, Every story as a start, middle and an end.

same sh*t here in Ellas (Greece) guyz.. i play delta, opsis, parasense, x-dream kind of vibez in my sets and i cannot find a place to play them anymore..
everybody iz afraid of the dark and i cannot understand why..
THERE IZ LIGHT IN THE DARK PEOPLE !!
the difference iz that this light iz spiritual..
if you are afraid to expand your mind and visualize your thoughts then go listen to the backstreet boyz or sth..

totally agree with u AN8RWPOS, it's said that ppl don't understand the real psychedelic music, and insist to listen these light and empty music or even choose the comercial style... but that's how life is, and for the real psy lovers, KEEP THE CONNECTION!

That's strange, there's so much great dark music coming out of Greece..Alienation (formerly psypeyote) and Zik. Delhi's huge for this sort of music now, though here too it took a while to be acceted, now it's all freaks want to listen to.
Which promoters in and around London would throw these sort of parties? Any names?

dont get me wrong, i like + play morning trance az we call it, but IN THE MORNING !! after a heavy and dark spiritual night..
the universe livez through a constant dance of light and darkness and that iz the way it keeps its balance.. that iz the way i keep my balance..
if i waznt trying to make a living right now (thingz are very tuff here in athens, do not be deceived by the the olympic imagez) i would come up in london to play for free for all you guyz, next week even.. SIRIOUSly

Hey guys, there are some of us here in the UK who play this type of music. Unfortunately, not many promoters are into this sort of music, nor many DJ's. Me and some friends are going to try and arrange something for all the lovers of 'night' psychedelic music, and by that I mean Ketuh Recs, Parvati, Deja Vu style etc etc etc. Hang in there

cant say all those artists mentioned above are dark artists(?!?!?!!)...as thats rather subjective or just globally accepted imo, but yes u sure need some variety in the UK scene!!!we sure do need some more twisted and diverse psychedelia there.
...once i went to the dream temple and asked for psychedelically yours II(parvati) and i was asked what type of music is that and told that they have no such music i n the D.T....sounded kinda funny.
never mind...
i'll b waiting....keep us updated

hi everyone. i agree with everything that has been said here.
although that i too want to see more "night" music being played.....at night, it has to be said that those kinda acts dont pull a big crowd...compared to acts like I.M. Sub6 Astrix. thats why the promoters are not booking russian and danish stuff.....but it has to be said a lot of that shit is completley off it!!! i love it, but not every average trance person out there is gonna get there heads around it.
we need to evolve this kinda night music right here in the uk.....an breed a style that is acceptable to all kinds of music lovers. a music that still holds a technical and musical integrity whilst being honestly !PSYCHEDELIC! at the same time.....
i know of a few tribes on this mission, with F. L. included - an we should all hope to hear this wonderful music very soon

that sounds great!! I was thinking id have to cross the channel to find some nice music. hehe parvati is the best label ever rocking music. and if u ever need help, for anything..also i have some friends who would love to play the sort of stuff u'r looking for.
