Maybe its a lot to do with the UK scene during the winter being mainly indoor & club based.. and so finishing at 6am.

If you're doing an outdoor party in sunnier climes- you can have twisted stuff at night leading onto morning music during the, er.. morning.

The UK psy trance scene is pretty small anyway and if you're running party at a club that stops at 6am - theres not a big market for dark twisted stuff... then lights go on & you go home...

...and don't blame the promoters - if anyone wants to hire and venue and put on their fave music - go for it!!

Well, not everybody has the time or the inclination to run their own night. So it'd be nice if people who did varied the music a bit more towards the darker more complex stuff - no need to have it all night but a smattering of psychotic microbe Clit Commander shit would go down a treat for me!

oh man...I'll trade you. Come to California or Oregon USA...loads of darkness and hard stuff... hard to get a melodic thing to go off..without being bullied by the "trauma trance" freaks...

the party scene in the UK looks really wonderful, fun and nice! top qaulity peeps and acts... ENJOY A GOOD THING!

Heard some tracks by Baphomet Engine, very interesting. Would love to book them, but not many people in London are into it, most promoters try to at least break even, so they usually go for the more 'well known' acts. Check out Killer Buds for some more night time Brazilian madness, debut album coming soon on Ketuh Records
And to Brett, the best parties in my opinion are those that have all forms of psy-trance. Trust me, you know how boring it is when there's nothing but banging night music or 'trauma trance' as you refer to it, but it's equally as boring when there's nothing but melodic stuff as well, or lot's of morning tunes being played at night, as seems to be the trend in London at the moment.          Turn On, Tune In, Trance Out!!!

Well guys i'm in for it too so please keep the main Psy web pages updated for Full-on Psy parties taking place around the UK...I mean i'd be willing to travel for Kindzadza, Penta, Fungus Funk, Freaking, Parasense etc. How about a Chemical Crew event??           ~Live every moment as if it were your last dance on Earth~

I agree with spectro.....some dark sounds and twisted stuff are needed in england.....

and I believe sooner or later, either they are expecting it or not this will happen too...

Sorry John but i think this is not a good excuse.....here in cyprus the scene is even smaller and most of the events during the year are indoors but NOIZE CONSPIRACY has managed to bring us some new and dark stuff down here!!!!
AZAX SYNDROM, VOID, PSYCHOTIC MICRO, EXAILE and the madness continues.....

For me only Azax and Psychotic can be consider dark between this acts but again.... they are trying to give them some new stuff instead of bringing gms, astrix, dino psaras etc.. for the millionth time.
Not that i mind the djs especially DINO PSARAS....but people needs to hear some new stuff as well!!!!

I was in london the past year and only full on parties were playing there.....GMS, ASTRIX,INFECTED, SUB6 and the uk djs...kristian,nick sentience...bla bla bla....
The only party that I REALLY had a great time was PARASENSE who were playing with kindzadza and fungus funk...but i think on that night fungus funk didn't come...

Anyway the point is that the UK scene needs some new stuff, because it has ended up, only in squat parties to have fun...and i hope now that i'm going back to London to have a better year than last year...
Anyway i believe that the UK crowd needs some time to get used to this more hardcore style!....but eventually they will give in....

Baphomet!?!?!?

As i have just now been informed the flyers for the new KILLER event are out:

What about the guys from Ambivalent Records?? Deviant Species, Scorb (not quite as dark but R.A.M. is pretty crazy) I would think from checking out what Freaky Bob was into (they came here to California) that there would be some dark stuff for sure in full effect out there... hmm...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
