you really, really need to read the manual all the way through.

if you are looking for a bread and butter does everything approach...this isn't it.

for me its specifically for weird FM noises and modulation heavy noise patches and it does that fantastically....

though I have gotten a nice peaceful lead out of it as well.

the filters don't sound amazing. the oscillators do sound amazing. the rotary mod sequencer is genius.

I like the filters, they're not as "realistic" as Diva's, but I don't think they're trying to be. High resonance sweeps sound realistic enough and I really dig their character. Sounds amazing when using filter FM, unlike most software, gain input also works as expected.

@POM

just keep at it

haven´t tried it but how´s the cpu weight?
i am on an old pc still, and diva for example is a no go for my system.

is it more for the modular obscurities or do you rate it a bread and butter synth as well from a usability perspective (getting things done quickly) ?           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

i think it s more light on cpu than diva, probably like uhe ace i would say.

not really a bread and butter synth but it could be for guys that use lot of fm, also it can sound very digital

see it a bit like ace but except that ace try to emulate analog , bazille is inspired by digital fm synth.

it can do fm, pm (phase mod , it don t change the pitch ) and phase distortion that i haven t much explored yet dunno how it can be usefull.

sound is good imo but it can alias it seems,or sound very digital on some spot, i wish they implement a even higher quality mode..but even like this it s great but not a bread and butter synth i think..if you use it for usual sound you may disapointed with the digital sound, but for some stuff it really shine like some fx and fm leads

no modulation yet to get some life/twisting yet, but that sound..breaks with sound like this it s like now we are back to the root and its gonna spank

same preset as above but diffferent amound of modulation on osc 1 to try to find the right pitch back..killah patch !

but really digital it can sound kinda irritating i find but used it all day maybe it s for that or maybe it s my programing would have to make sound with less sparkle or use sweetening processing..great synth but not to use everywhere for me

probably better sounds if you do it east coast style programming.

ie. what i mean is use the carrier osc to affect timbre
instead of using a filter
