I'm afraid so - the Ministry of Trance has declared another genre with very specific time frames for when it can be played.
Please note that any DJs daring to use a little imagination and thinking of breaching these time/subgenre restrictions will be liable for a visit from the Trance Police... |

funny.. recently trying to describe my friend's set i said "it's something like bright night/dark morning. i guess you could call it twilight.."  f*ck, get out my head! or myabe i need to get out of yours  oh yeah, the connectivity.. duh. i love you. |

Wow i love this genre and is definately important in a party the music which leads to the morning sounds the melody hidden in the dark beats.
Abomination & Frozen Ghost is a clear cut example of how menacing twilight psy can be

I really think producers need to stop doing this to themselves.
"Twilight"?
I can see the Dark/Melodic difference, obviously, but don't limit yourself, especially to something like "Twilight".
I think every good artist should have their own idea of where they're going with their music, it's up to them how to describe it in words.
I'm not criticizing anyone here, its just my belief not to classify such a dynamic genre as psytrance. |
