i bought Pearl jam-no code twice cuz my brother moved to his new apartment and took half of my cds with him..lol
also im pretty sure i bought Sonic Youth - Washing machine twice..dunno why |

(one of my all time fav chill releases...)
I bought this one twice....
and unfortunatly none of the copies is with me...
Round 1 - Bought it in london and a couple of monthes later I forgot it in a bag (along with other cd's) on the platform of a tube station...
Needless to say that the bag has disappeared within few sec's...
Round 2 - Later on I bought TIP 12 again, and few monthes later I got back to Israel. On the first party I went to, our car has been broken into and that damn cd was stolen yet again...
I don't think i'll ever buy it again...

a year later i found this cd in my brother's house!
i totally forgot that i gave it to him.

I've got two copies of TIP Infinite Excursions 3... After not being able to find it for a while, thought I had lost it, then when I ordered a copy from Psyshop, guess what I found it the day it arrived in the post..
Strangely enough, the new cd that arrived in the post has somehow spread the last few tracks over short tracks making it 15 tracks long instead of 9..

OT: I once bought a cd(Skazi-Animal, back when it came out). I lost it. I didin't buy a new one, I just listened to the mp3's I illegally downloaded instead.

i bought many records on vynil and on cd, back when there was still vynil being released. i also double bought a few records vaious times to give as presents, for example i bought atmos headcleaner once for me on vynil, once for me on cd, and at least 5 times as present.

I ended up buying a second copy of Tipworld:Assasinations by mistake, thinking I had ordered Xplanations. Then went and ordered another copy of Acidance:Ritual Dance, thinking I hadn't ordered it before. The best one though was when I ordered another copy of 7th Wave by System 7. I had lost the original CD at a particularly messy New Year Eve's party. Turns out, I had put it back in my CD wallet, but in the wrong location  So now I have 2 copies of this fine album

Similar as aje with me - I've bought a lot of things both on CD and on vinyl. I like having both.
There are a few classic vinyls I have multiple copies of when I ran across good deals (Juno Reactor - Transmissions, Hallucinogen - Angelic Particles). I figure it is good to have extra copies of some rare ones around in case I am ever strapped for cash.
Other than that, I can't really recall buying any CDs twice. I have *accidentally* bought multiple copies of 12" singles before. I ordered from several online stores and lost track of what I ordered from each one. I also ordered something from the local store, but found it somewhere else. Naturally, the store gets the copy in weeks later, so I am stuck with a second copy.
But I say better too many copies than none at all.

I mean, I bought "Infected Mushroom - Classical Mushroom" in 2001/2, and I have at least bought it over 3-4 times. Reason is of cource that it got scraches from to much playing, lost a copy ect.
After thinking about this, I have realized that the albums that I have bought over the most times is:
Trance: "Infected Mushroom - Classical Mushroom"
Other music: "Marilyn Manson - AntiChrist SuperStar"
And it just happends that these two albums are my fav of all time. I lost "Violet Vision - First Sign of Communication" 3 months ago, and I know that I one time or the other, have to buy it over again. It sucks to buy albums over and over again. But some albums, you just have to.

I was travelling with my favorite cd's once, they just got lost from me... I purchased each of the 15 cds again, I was happy to get new copies!
Since then, i bought 3 of them , AGAIN, because i listened to them so much, they were unplayable.
And now, again, another cd, I have ordered new.
These include :
Layo & Bushgwacka! - Night Works
Dave London - Orlando Breakz 3
AK1200 - Live in Sanfrancisco
DJ Rob-E - Future Funk 1.0
to name a few.... youve never heard of any of them
