in an effort to compose and fill the forum with more positive threads:

have you ever bought the same cd more then once? has that happened to anyone? if there is an interesting story attached to the reason please share here is one of mine:

Ott -Blumenkraft - original purchase - date of release... had to repurchase after losing hope of seeing it again. why you ask? because good ol' surrender gave it to a girl that he would rather not see anymore. i actually really dislike this girl come to think of it... i remember the inner debates i had with myself about to pick up the phone and just call her to get the cd. i predicted i would actually have to talk to her more then that sentence, so that kinda repelled me. one time she saw me randomly on the street and actually brought up the cd as a reason to meet and exchange it... but i told her to just walk around with it from that point on, maybe we will meet again on the street someday.
so after months of stareing at the cover on my cd rack and forgetting that i dont have it (wanting to pop it in) and remembering that girl everytime i saw it... i caved! i re-purchased it.
was the correct choice...
lesson learned - its sometimes worth spending money on something you already should have inorder to avoid a girl.

My CD of Simplicity was pretty worn out, so i decided the best way to remember him & acknowledge the happy moments that his music has given me was by ordering it again.

And I thought u were a halfway normal guy. I don't know what u take but tkae less of it

Just kidding

Was she ugly? Maybe u should have stayed straight and called her and just get the cd and tell her u don't want much contact, but i know this can be hard sometimes. So i think it is ok to buy it again, and a cd is not so expensive. But u still remember her if u see the cd or?            Signature

i was on an Atmos kick years ago (just for listening)... I bought one of their CD's twice....

who remembers that atmos track. 'So nice you name it twice' ?

and its one of those tracks that people always ask what its called... and I love the look on their face when you say so nice you name it twice... some people even try to come up with a second name for the track           www.facebook.com/DjJanux

I actually bought around 60 CD’s twice. Last summer a guy took home my CD-case by accident, and the following week he was robbed in his apartment, losing a lot of stuff ... including my CD’s.

I was glad to find out that my own insurance actually covered my loss though, and out of the around 80 CD’s in the case, they bought me around 60, and paid me the money for the remaining 20           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

I purchased...

"Toires - Majmar" a second time last month.

My girlfriends sister is a master of the Tantric Ropes. For those who are unclear, it is an art where they use ropes to supend themselves in the air , entwining in beautiful ways.
She needed some chilled out music, so after going thru what i had she chose this one over the rest.
I saw her perform and it was breathtaking. Never ended up getting back the cd , but it was a great experience and was totally worth the loss.

psysex- Come in Peace

I was anticipating that one so much, I saw it first on sale on the hommega website. I put in my order but did not get a confimation or anything so I wasn't sure whether it was coming. They did not even reply to my inquiry so a couple of days later, when i saw it on psyshop, I put in a second order to make sure I would get it. I gave my other copy to a friend of mine who is just as crazy about psysex...

this is just some advice-

when your cd is scratched, a trick i learned lst summer is to smear the backside of it with toothpaste and to rinse it out with water. this has worked on most cds i tried but failed in some hopeless cases...

there is also a machine you can buy that will scrape off 1 protactive layer at a time, so you can scrape off about 100 levels before the cd is ruined...

hope this offtopic post helps some...
