lol... what a party ...

I got really sick yesterday and all of my bones and muscles were aching but i came anyway. It was tottaly worth it.

I thought i was at some different Spirit
Still can't beleive it, everything was simply great...organization, music, people(just very few rough people), deco.

Dino Psaras played some really really good tracks! And SUN Project, perfect! I have their new album and i was comparing the new tracks, the way they were played, and there was a lot of improvisation going on! Super

And Mixmaster Morris played some twisted ambient stuff. I heard some tracks that were just perfect for the moment.

All best people

I am so glad to hear good things about this party! On my way to an indoor tonight in LA with with some hesitation as I prefer the outdoors but your reviews have me feeling optimistic. Thank you

well the music was intense but not real psychedelic at times very trancey and dancey. (except sun project) surrender played a real kick ass morning set flawless mixing most of the time. and the crowd was great after it thinned out. but hey thats spirit . the screen visuals were great some of the best ive seen in awhile. the rest of the deco was very vibrant but some of it was kinda cheesy. those faces on the sides of the stage however were in my vision all night.

now my personal experience

I really hate seeing psytrancce at places like spirit but what can you do when its 20 degrees out. any way so i was sick but came up anyway ive never seen sun project. but i was coughing so much after they played that i thought i might vomit so i went to the bathroom and got yelled at by someone for coughing and gagging so i left and went to the mac machine to get some money after denying my pin number 3 times it accepted it then said processing transaction please wait.... for seriously about 5 minutes i sat down and waited for my money because i couldnt cancel the transaction. then it said service unavailable. so i went up to the bar upstairs to try to get a water or at least some ice all the while still coughing but the bartenders upstairs didnt seem to want to help me so i stood there for another 5 minutes while the tenders stood there looking around but hey that was just a small inconvenience. sorry i wrote so much about it. but other than that i would say itd be nice if they had the back doors open for smoking it was an eye buurner in the back and am I th only one that dislikes the fake club fog they pump out? also I was standing against the stage watching dino and the visuals and got assaulted by and ass i didnt look back to see who it was but someone just kept ramming me with their ass till I moved. but thats not uncommon at spirit. anyway the night got better as the morning came.

So Surrender decided to play afterall...

Ok, I'll see SUN Project next time then.           If you ever find yourself being ripped apart by a pack of wolves, try not to scream. Everbody knows wolves can smell fear.

Did any of you have to wait on the line like last time?
I got in right away.

Can't you see that Tsunami-Trance have done a lot to improve our enjoyment. I tell you once again, this was not the Spirit i am used to.

And btw, i went to Spirits website and this event was not promoted on it! I am sure this was not a mistake but a deliberate action to ward off curious "outsiders" of the psy scene.

oh I know they are trying to help make it good again this is the first time ive seen deco and good visuals and this after the request of party goers i see it still I was just giving an opinionated review. still there is the clubbers and random drunk people like when me and some folks were sitting in the chill out room on the floor and aguy came up to a girl sitting there shook his crotch in her face then stepped over her with one leg on each side and walked away stuff like this is what im talking about that effects the feeling of the event for me. there is nothing tsunami no matter how hard the try will be able to do about things like this so thats why my opinion is the way it is. Im not knocking the organizers its just random people be it staff or just walkins that im refering to people that will alway be there in club atmospheres its just an opinion

I had a great time. S.U.N. Project was awesome, and Dino Psaras melted my brain! As far as the crowd, everyone I talked to was very friendly, and having a great time. Much better vibe than last time, and more room to dance. I'm glad I went.
