A psy trance party to beat the expectations for any goa head within 1000 miles, this is sure to be the best Mindoutpsyde event yet! 2 rooms of both frenzy stompin material and chill/dub beats to lounge to. Featuring 9 out of state acts, 4 of which have become or are in the process of becoming internationally known throughout the world. All night of music, chai and coffee served, multiple lazers, consistent interactive blacklight shows throughout the night, room for 800+, massive out of state prescence, a vj in the works, and a 24 hour mindoutpsyde deco crew that will be in the venue early friday to ensure that every nook and cranny will be space/dimensional like. Greg Farley has been involved in the psychedelic trance scene in Northern California for over 5 years. After several years of being a dj and event coordinator, he began to produce his own music in the
summer of 2003. Assisted and influenced by San Francisco artists such as Quasar, Ocelot, the Nommos, Chromatone, and Penta. Mubali's music began appearing on various labels like Mistress of Evil Records,
Geomagnetic TV, Trishula Records, Insomnia Recs, and Manic Dragon Recs. In March of 2006, Trishula Records released Mubali's debut full length titled "Cats at Play." His music style can be called nighttime,
aggressive, dark and funky psychedelic music, and this year he has been doing a lot of collaborations with many artists such as Naked Tourist, Highko, Arahat, Bodhisattva 13:20, and Electrypnose. Be prepared for his sonic onslaught and holographic textures.

Now just having relocated to the midwest, he will be making his 3rd Iowa appearance, and first as a regionally based DJ.

oh snap.... its always great to play a show with close friends, and with seeing these 2 great buddies again since my move will make it even more special.
Even more so, i must say the 3 of us together make a wicked combo
this will be a real fun night, i just hope we dont break the psyowan's too bad (but knowing them they'll be on the floor to the bitter end, even if crippled from the musical onslaught)

Iooowaah! Definitly one of the craziest dancefloors I've flown on. It was great to see a party being controlled by both the energy of the floor and the DJ instead of just the latter. Keeping this crowd in the frequency requires quite an insananely sane mind. Can't wait to see the Wichdokta and Mubali do just that.
Paradigm ... this is The Midwest you have to see!

last year at trans-d shift we had about 300 people. it was our first major public event, and with only two weeks notice and a small paper pre-flyer! this time i bet we'll get 10000
people will need to bring shovels to scoop their jaws off of the floor as the 4 way combo from 12-9am (ooze then mubali then dokta then paradigm) is gonna completely cause lockjaw syndrom. But dont forget about chillmasters Yidam and Damon alongside of many other great downtempo acts in the lounge area.
Also, This will be first promo/demo release party for Collision and Aktif as they chop it down from 10-12... plus there are many more tricks up our sleeves as we plan on having a preparty on friday and an afterparty on sunday!
This will pretty much be a 3 day with two separate venues
more info and surprises to be announced very soon. flyers should be done by the 1st of january so if anyone needs some let me (Collision) know |

In Oklohama right now, cant wait to get back to Iowa City and start working on the party.......man i am so excited!

i wish, as production has only began for both of us. however, it will be our first dj demo party. nothing major, no record deals or anything Its just been a year of hardcore party throwing/playing out at and its just now the first time we've ever tried to piece together our idea of our best dj mix's (they will be separate) so we are excited about it . we'll have free cds to hand out. |

Also, need to get Mubali & Paradigm on the 3-day tip and hope the dokta comes also to hang out in Psyowa for the weekend for some hot action! Going to party like it's 1993 I'll have a whole month to reset from NYE to this I think, nothing that looks to be on my radar so will be popping outta my gopher hole and in a hibernation dream to rock out with ze aliens and other interdimensional organisms! Suuupper psycheed about this and you know if you need any help just let me know! Expsytement! |
