COZY...
What i´m trying to say is that u cant see & or touch the music therefore its an abstract thing! Its all a matter of simple physics... It doesnt matter if theres structures, tones and octaves u can still dont touch them..... But if u could touch them they would be an concrete thing like an coke! The music is there i wont dissagree on that one but still its not there.... I dont know how the "#!¤ thats possible but it is.....

I foresee no future for britney spears. the girl has some unscrupable hits, i'll grant her that, but unless she'll play her cards right like madonna, i think that in the next 5 years, ppl will be saying "britney who?".
as to trance - imho - as a culture and a musical genere, it has eveloved from the late 80's, like most of todays musical generes did, so i belive it has a future, as it is constantly evolving. britney's style of music is a one note song, nothing more. i'd stick to trance and metal.
as to the dusscussion wether trance is music or not, well, everything starting with a NOTE, is music. take U2's "Numb", and erase the background music, and all you got is "the edge" singing in one Note. and you call that Music? yes. why? cause it has structure, notes, harmonies, melodies. as do ANY other music styles, from brit pop to blues, from trance to classical. everything's quantifiable, including the music black men from the missisipi's doing. saying trance is not music is like saying the pope is a muslim. gimme a break ppl. |
