im not so sure, i mean, if we'll learn how accept everyone's love for their kinda music like we love ours i think we'll treat other ppl and our children ofcourse in a better way. I mean, i wont tell my children to stay home and not to go to a party that they really wanted to go just because i think the music that playing there is horrible. Its everyone's choise to decide what music do they want to listen (have i changed the main subject here or what?! :))

No you didn't, we did and it's ok imho.

About my parents, we almost don't have problems unless I puy off my headphones. They don't have anything against my music!

My father once said that this music is stupid and I defend her and told him not to do so like it was my girlfriend :D.

thanks for all the help. im not as pist, i had to work today, and the same guy came in, sat down on his own will, and i dont really know what happened, but 2 cops and a detective (i think) came in and arrested him. supposedly the story is he's been going to restaurants in newtown (the town i live in), and complaining bout the service and etc. to just get free food, i dont know why they arrested him in the store. but in a sick way, it made me happy.

i first played Juno Reactor (bible of dreams) while closing the store tonight, then i played Boymerang (self title), got out at 2AM, good shift starting at 2PM.  well, im going to sleep. latahs

are u online in a pizza shop? :D

anyway...

Salvador: we have a few more years to dig untill that happens, so as dojo tried to point out.. BE HAPPY!!! :D

I will never tell my kids what to listen/watch/see unless i am sure and it's a fact it hurts them ( porn movies at the age of 6, super violent movies... and etc)
i grew up on a time line... everything fits a surtain age.
as i see it now, i once cried becuase of this but today i am so happy. i am 19 years old soon and there are so many things i have just recently did which 14 years old kids do here, becuase it's "cool" it's stupid... everything has it's own time...

Regarding the subject: There are old people who are so fucking open minded and cool, i meet these people here and there, but they are SHIT rare... people who are 80 and act like their 18.
it's so cool... and in my opinion it's beutifull and i wish i would be able to be kicking at the age of 80 ( if i will have a world to be kciking at, salvador....) ;)

Anyway, expand other's horizons, especialy people who are your age becuase u would die if if u only tried to check out the statistics today... it's like this "MTV GENERATION" shit... fucking narrow minded 16 years old people... so sad...
...unless i am sure and it's a fact it hurts them...
That's the problem. Our parents think that this music hurts us because it's "drug music". And honestly, what would you think if your kids would listen to a track called "LSD" by an artist called "Hallucinogen"? Try to understand those people, just saying fuck them because they're not open-minded won't help you.

well, i can understand it better now cause its now over, i mean, im not the fastest thinker, i just easily get offended at things. i can understand why people think that this is "drug music".

in my town i live with a lot of close minded people, i even can be close minded at times, but i try my best to be open minded with anything. ive always have tried to be open bout everything, some times a slip up. oh well.

but, thanks for all the advice, points of views etc. well, i must go to sleep, and wake up in 7hrs, im going to buy new speakers, my new turn table, and the works for my new system in my room. my mom of course wants me to save that money, but ill just work hard to replace whatever i spend. well, latahs

i had a similar experience here not too long ago myself. i work in a customer service setting and get quite a wide selection of people through our store. i usually bring some cds along with me to make the time go by a little faster in the evenings, and play mostly trance or some radiohead (or whatever). anyway, a few weeks ago i came in to work only to find that the cord for the stereo was gone. apparently some cranky old fart had complained to my boss not that the music was too loud, but that it was 'too satanic'. wtf? i know that i live in the buckle of the bible-belt, but that was just plain stupid. anyway, after i said that he could find someone else to work there if we couldn't have any music, we got the cord back and everything was fine...
