im pist, i just wanna get some anger off my chest, and this is the only non-destructive way i can do it:
i tend to listen to trance, drum n bass or jungle at work, i need something fast to keep me up with the lunch/dinner rush, well, i was listening to this comp that my friend burned for me, "D.Trance", while i was cuttin pizzas (i know, i have a horrible job), this costumer complains saying im listening to bad music, music that cause the overdoses of many teens and rapes etc.., close minded bastard wanted me to put folk or country on, im like fuck that, he wanted to get me fired for that, but i didnt, just it pisses me off, i fuckin hate it when people blame music, or any form of entertainment on some kind of incident..
im bit calmer, not much. gonna go run a mile or two...latahs

Most elder people won't support things which they don't understand. For them, anything that is not normal (normal in their terms) is also automatically negative. It's called being narrow minded.

i think that in this case one should live in the states for a while to get the idea...
some of the people in the u.s ( specially out of ny, san fransisco ) are kinda of fashists imo.. imagine yourselves in this plastic
buble with all the hipocrasy there is and allot of fakeness in all means of life, so to put them trance is like to open this mind cells they are not using for ages..
i say fuck them and their law... |

Well, in my job never do i get the oppurtunity to choose the music that is running. It is the pursuit of a louzy computer program with a very bad taste, that is running there years before i got there. It is a collection or something of my big boss's favourits.
So unfortunatly i get no chance to debate with costumers stupid or smart about my music.
The greatest tip that you get is a nice spliff of charas...

if i was u i'd bake him a "space pizza" and let him see what overdose really means... ;-)

I hate these thoughts especially when you live only once :)
But some say that Music is affected by the mentality u have and I'm not sure our mentality will stay the same.
Can u imagine your grandfather moving his head in 140 MPM (Movements per min ;))? well I can't.
I guess that the optimal music for us then will be Ambient.

hey patrick , why dont u try to lought a litle from this situation it's remind me when i used to work in a coffe house where is live and one they i brought a trance cd not to heavy trance just an infected mushroom - clasical mushroom cd wich is fun to listen to and i figured no one will complain antil from all the people there after an half an hour some 18 year old guy with huge glases came to me and ask me to stop this horrible music so i am very consider dude turned this volume on and on wich was very funny
p.s this is israel so i gues the respond here is a litle soft the u.s.a so think twice if u gonna do something in this style... |

Think about it, your parents had the same attitude from their parents when they wanted to listen to their music. I don't need to talk about that time when The Beatles couldn't get to Israel because of their "destructive" music.
