I am sorry to correct you here.

Artists do NOT sell more than they did 7 years ago.

They sell according to the amount of people in the scene - and yes there are way more people now but even though the sales are not one bit better...actually they are worse if you compare the sales with the amount of potential buyers. If the scene had as many buyers 7 years ago as today we would have sold tons of CD's at that time.

We all know what one of the reasons is for the lack of sales today !

And don't for one minute think that many artists can live well of their music today. They can't !!!

Only a few popular bands can ! The rest struggle hard to make it.

So before you post all these "facts" then make sure to knwo what you're talking about

Friendz..

as an artist i say....

imake music course i like to make music, not becourse peoble want my music,,,
when i first sat down and made some soundz i never thought that anyone would hear it,,.

But there where, and peoble started offering me money to play at there party and pay my trip to weird country`s ... but i see it as a bonus and i get to travel all over the globe,,, its cool...
And i never think i can live on my music,,

Artists that can live of there music... well i dont know any artist that can live of there music that i like....somethin to do with the time the artist but in the tracks...,, u can allways hear this,,,
