And that is exactly what differentiates our scene from most others… A Person who listens to mainstream genres doesn’t understand our music and think it sounds monotone, but in fact if he listens to his favorite music and I listen to my favorite music, the joy or pleasure he gets out of it will not even be 1% of what I get out of it, in the end it his loss…

Hello Green Channel.....
My grandmother used to cry when she listened to Cole Porter songs. I would definately classify Cole Porter as mainstream. Are you trying to tell me that my Grandmother was only getting 1% of the "joy & pleasure" out of listening to those old songs as you get listening to your music?
Diversity is what makes this world so incredible. And that includes diversity in music, way's of thinking and communicating.
I listen to an extremely wide selection of different styles of music (including some mainstream....) What box are you going to put me in?
Believing that somehow you are experiencing life on a deeper level because you are part of a "scene" is elitist and extremely narrow-minded.

Just the other day I was just discussing with a friend what I like to call Beautiful Melancholia. It's all about minor keys and teasing resolution.
Dead Can Dance had me in tears for most of their performance last month. If you have a chance to see them on their current tour, don't miss it!
New Order's "Elegia" comes to mind first.
Tarsis' "Broken" is very special to me; on repeat it was the soundtrack to a night of tears shed over a bad party experience.
Rhythm of Space's "Celeste" from Chakra Journey, my favorite ethnochill track of all time.
Future Sound of London's "Vit Drowning/Through Your Gills I Breathe."
Orbital's "dwr budr."
Dif Juz' "No Motion." The entire Extractions album, really.
This Mortal Coil's instrumental 7" b-side of "It'll End In Tears."
And Cocteau Twins, the soundtrack of my angsty adolescence.
Of recent releases, Androcell's "Fungus Garden." And when Tyler plays it live, you know it's from his heart!
Altom's "Plasma" on Namaskar. The first time I heard it was at the conclusion of his set here last December. Wow.
Phase Phour's "Unpronounced Numbers" on Quality Relaxation.
Mr Projectile's "You Need."
Though at 129 BPM it stretches the definition of downtempo, Logic Bomb's "Dumbfound" on Movers and Groovers 2 has been one of my most tried and true emotional download songs.
Vivaldi's "Winter" and select Bach fugues. It's difficult to play when one has tears blurring one's vision of the sheet music.
Now, of course, after naming them I must listen to all these songs and cry all morning! Saturnia

I agree , my previous post was unfair.
Yet, most other types of music arn't able to bring one into a state of trance, a state where, emotions explode in ecstacy, a shamanic exp. - if you wish.
The combination of plant medicines and psychedelic most as-well be exp.
Thus, I think our music is truly special.
Although, it seems as if, less and less artists are able to create the psychedelic magic, which is needed in-order to enter such a state.
