i think that it is a lot more dificult to create a minimalistic [u][/u]interesting track cuz make it interesting without melody it's very hard and not all of the artists creating the melody but copying it from other known melodies!!! |

Asi,
To make minimalstic sound you dont need to be
musician - u need to be a technicaL man,
I dont say that minimalstic is bad(There are few superb minmalstic
tracks that I admire..)
But generaly the goa sound is much more complex and combine
a lot of elements..
I admire the most those who have 1.huge technical ability & 2.huge talntto make melodies
I Personly dont know a lot of artists who can combine
these 2 elements and those are know are mostly GOA ARTISTS from the past like(Astral Projection,M.F.G,Space Cat,Transwave,Califrnia Sunshine,Etc...)
I Want to Say That I dont Hate minimalstic stuff I only
Prefer Goa(I hear all the kinds of trance..)
And I also think that goa is coming again and I am glad for It...
With Goa We Came And With Goa We Will Leave !!!

cool man u have some good points but everyone and his own taste i do think minimal it's not just technical but like i said there is no point to argue about taste. besides it i bealive to that the goa trance is coming back cuz the hard style edventually will get bored and a new style will kick in. i'm not sure that this style will be the goa style but i'm sure a new style will kick in soon!!!!! |

ya, i agree benny, goa will not be back as big as it was, and i guess the dominating stylee is the "other" style right now,
but goa won't go away either
and let's hope that artist comes from somewhere, anyway, it's like u know,.. No matter how much radioactivity is going to be spilled on this earth, the mother sun will always shine no matter what. So no matter how many new styles will be created in trance, goa trance will still be "the mother of the scene"

As for the styles, IMHO it goes and will go in a way of periods, the minimal technician artist will always make us their music and the same for the goa artists just when new goa album is out anyone of us will be interested in it and somehow will get it and again the same for the minimal fans of us.

What is it minimal VS melodic again?
This is endless, moreover this is _pointless_
