In Greece when we have strikes or demonstrations we call the police "batsi,gourounia,dolofoni"
in english="cops,pigs,murderers"!!Some of them are ok, but the rest (98%) are ASSHOLES,in general!!If they catch you with weed or other drugs and its one of the ASSHOLES he´ll have the nerve to hit you across the face!!!Lots of my friends who´ve gotten caught or searched have be smack across the face!But not girls,well not that i´ve heard of!!BASTARDS and then they say trust the police!!ha,ha....ha!!! |

I live in Stockholm, Sweden and have been organizing some parties so I know a thing or two about The Rave Commission.
When you think about it, they kind of reflect the general attitude of your average joe (read: average swede). People often stare at you when you say that you have been to rave parties. Rave equals drugs and is [i]really[/i] underground, well that is what they think anyways.
The Rave Commission isn't such a big problem if the party organizer checks up on all the beuracracy. You need to get a permit to dance, you need to hire security people, you need to keep a minimun age (often 18 years), and so on. If all the criterias are met there isn't much they can do.

Ya,i know what u mean!my sister and i r thinking of opening a cafe/bar and you just need so much shit!permission to play music,tax´s,count ever cl of booze!!and on and on!!i mean just so many things they ask for,its amazing,i had no idea!!
i´ve worked at cafe/bars/clubs but it aint the same!!It takes alot of hard work and sacrifice and lot of "clubbers,ravers"have no idea!!

wel the rave commision isnt only busting parties now, they bust peoples home as well, they are both DEA and the commision, they have busted into my friends appartment twice, just because when we have parties we play trance and the neighbor hood is kinda drug infested, but they didnt have a warrent to get into my friends appartment but they don´t care about those stuff, and when ya later go to a trance party they recognise u and bust u again even if they know I don´t have drugs on me....and in my eyes the trance culture is fading away here in stockholm cuz of these guys!
damn I wish I lived in israel so that I could see/hear my idols every weekend :( |
