Arturia Minitribute is Affordable

but only got 1 osc... for psychedelic effects it great

but for Intense Supersaw double oscillator melodies SH-201 seems better...some say it sounds close....close to JP8000

having one OSC for lead like filteria, its enought?

Does anyone know what's the maximum rate of the lfo's?
Feature-wise it looks like a good little synth for probably not too many $$$, but I'm afraid the knobs will most likely be wiggly is hell.

And all of your money/social life as well

Modular is the best way to go, I agree...not cheap though...and not practical at first...although when you get round to working with modular synths, it will pay off in vast amounts in the future.

With a 1 year old son & trying for no. 2, being a stay at home Dad studying audio engineering part time I have no social life either so modular is fine. Even on a tight budget as I'm building a house with my wife I can afford to buy a module every month or two. It might take 6-8 months but it'll be much more worth it than say another Nord Lead or Virus.

To the original poster I owned a SH-201 briefly. It as ok but nothing amazing. Good software like Omnisphere & a good midi keyboard would be better.           Cuntus Maximus.

guy says its got a ten octave range on the lfo so pretty fast,,, with regaurds to the wiggly knobs, not a worry , BUCHLA use them MAKE NOISE use them , better for the pcb i heard, creates less stress on the solder,

but defo got some leggs for the cash....lush filter FM as well, should open a lot of stuff up really.... like afteshave,. only a little dab will do

im going for Arturgia Minibrute..

one oscillator is very fine for leads?

like those 4 osc SAW wave leads i make on Sylenth...cause i would love to rock on LEAD on it...

by the way...i can set up a LEAD preset in Arturia, then make the midi notes on the DAW, and the DAW loads the Synth?

im noob and new, be gentle           https://soundcloud.com/ancientaliengoa

hi im from brazil and i buy my suffs from ebay (america)... specialy if its synthetizer u can find in there second hand stuffs for very good price,, usualy the stuffs take 15 days to get in brazil and better yet if u know someone who s coming to brazil from america or europe you could mail them and ask them to bring to u then it would be 100 per cent sure that u wont pay the tecnology taxes.

about which synth to get is bout personal experience...since u have none just buy any that is at least apropriate to do sounds and then u ll start to know what u realy wish from the sound source. as the firs i d stick to the price..second hand. the best price

also i dont think u should buy soft synths unless u are bein paid for this.

a hardware synth u can touch u can play like video game specialy if u dont have any big intention in ur musical carrer and if u take care of it in 10 20 years it s still be working and u can sell for a friend. the soft synt well it s just like any oher software

another doubt

as minibrute dosent got presets...

i can load a channel in MY DAW..creat a modulation, play with the keyboard or the DAW keys?than after i can use record buton to automate ressonance, cutoff? Then i can open a new channel, make all this stuff new again, go back to the first channel an everthing will be the same?even if the knobs of the second channel is different, it will load the modulation i made on the first?           https://soundcloud.com/ancientaliengoa
