Hey guys

i want to buy a Synth in the price of 200-300 euros, cause here in Brazil those synths worh 2000 royals, twice the payment i recive

300 euros is and Roland SH-101, he seems interesting, some said is good for goa

i want some "cheap" (for europeans) synth that do a good job for Goa trance, for a beggininer, nothing like big Virus

what could i find? SH-101 is worth while?

im looking for someone who god Audio/Midi-USB connection cause my soundcard dont got In just Out

Firstly, please be careful how you write. I gather English isn't your first language, but what you have written makes it difficult to understand what you're asking.

Secondly, why don't you save up a bit more and get something like the new MS20 Mini? Or go soft & get Omnisphere. It's amazing.

Personally I don't see any point in buying hardware unless you're willing to go fully analog like a modular system. Otherwise our just spending loads for a vsti with a keyboard that you could get for a lot less as software & a cheap midi keyboard.           Cuntus Maximus.

Hardware won't give you anymore sound wuality than top VST's like sylenth, massive, diva, zebra, alchemy...

It can give give you different character, flavour and above all workflow because of interface, but you will also have to bounce/freeze and get midi timing right.

300 is little for a hardware synth, I would suggest to keep working with VST's until you find what are you really missing.

Also, what is avaible locally? I know brazil has some big import duties           "The dedication to repetition — the search for nirvana in a single held tone or an endlessly cycling rhythm — is one of electronic music's noblest gestures."

theres many avaible, JP8000 that is 300 lb (england money) is 2700 royals and i would need a new sound card with IN's, mine card is good but only got OUT

im thinking in Roland SH-201 with USB...

who can say something about SH-201 http://www.roland.com/products/en/SH-201/, it got supersaw.... anyway, i would learn how to play keyboard, slow notes melodies i can do, later i can play some leads, some months maybe, but i can configure my preset on the Synth and use the midi sequencer of Live9, and automate on the synth for more fun

anyway i wanna tips of synths on that price to see what i find in brazil store, i dont understand about synths...i really want one,

i use zebra and sylenth and still cant get the sound that i want

Go the Doepfer Dark Energy 2. You'll learn a lot more about real synthesis than a rubbish 201.           Cuntus Maximus.

You'll new a MIDI to CV interface for the SH-101, which adds significantly to a budget buy.

New(er) synths that you can get cheap (that will deliver when it comes to Goa).

Novation Bassstation 2
Moog Slim Phatty
Korg MS-20 Mini
Doepfer Dark Energy
Arturia Minibrute (not fan but not a bad synth at all).
Nord Rack 1 (used all over Pleiadians' IFO album, which is a classic amongst goa lovers).

And all of your money/social life as well

Modular is the best way to go, I agree...not cheap though...and not practical at first...although when you get round to working with modular synths, it will pay off in vast amounts in the future.

I'm quite happy spending on modular synth. It'll sound a lot more unique than any branded synth, and I've got a baby so no social life anyway lol. Plus modular is great, you just buy each piece as you can afford it and you get to watch something being built. It's a very satisfying feeling.           Cuntus Maximus.
