Notice how she totally fails at singing. Out of tune and flat like a forgotten beer on a patio. PLus her amazing skills at faking melodies on a unplugged synth. Wow! we need more of these artists to give psytrance its deserved recognition . But the tune itself is so groundbreaking .. not cheesy at all .And the best part is the hands and arms gestures expressing every synth sound being heard, you know ala Eskimo
Excuse my rant

Im not sure she realy know what she do , (She's just know the track thats all) So she "Play" on the keybord "The way it should be done" Or heard . Im not sure this piano is work , Imo this is - The 'Bad Show In The City' .

You can see what happen on dancefloor .. Every one already go home ..
Beside some horny dizzy guys can't see somthing real happen there .

This is not unique to Dali, Ive personally seen a few BIG acts (i wont name names) doing totally fake shows, unplugged mixers and synths, fully automated premixed Ableton projects, etc....           www.harmlessprankster.bandcamp.com

But there are so many artist around who doing the same. Im just found a video on youtube where Loud presents there new album. Just amazing how they use the magic knob who you can use for almost everything in the track and when you look at ableton then you can see that they just put the tracks in the arrangment view so the bridge between the tracks fits perfect. The importent thing is to raise your hands simultaneously to the beat and the crowd goes crazy.

But i think its the music who is importent and not how they play it live. Of course its more professional when you know how to use ableton but the music will be the same and some people on the dancefloor will not even notice that there already plays the next artist.

Im not saying there is anything wrong with playing a Live set that is basically just hitting the spacebar, I do that sometimes but i dont turn a bunch of knobs and pretend to be tweaking everything. my2c           www.harmlessprankster.bandcamp.com

I don't get why people that spend time in the studio making music, play live sets by just hitting the space bar.
Speaking for my self, I do think that one should at least change things up so that the tunes don't sound exactly as they were released, so that there is something special about the live set VS just DJing your own music for 60-120mins.
And then there is also the just standing on stage, dancing (or not) to the music without interacting with it at all...you do know how to program synths, you do know how import some midi notes in the sequencer, what stops people from putting some extra drum loops, drones, vox/whatever samples, synth lines and play over the tracks is beyond me.

Peace out.

I get really annoyed from stupid people in the audience.
This has nothing to do with fake or not, but when this guy came to play with that disgusting fullon music, everyone just went crazy and started dancing and 'smiling' like a bunch of retards.

I felt like walking away from this place, if it weren't for logic bomb which came after this guy.

Luckely the video is of such bad quality that you won't be bothered too much by this awful music, but you get the picture.

Never made a live or anything like it, but my ideia would be to have several basslines lines with keys, some percs and hats properly named and midi lines and synths woshes and stuff and throw them how i felt the dance floor, but maybe this is stupid dont really now

When I change basslines, I always do it in the studio to make sure I get the mix spot on...there are varied clubs and monitoring systems you will play at and whilst I always mix things in the headphones, when the DJ booth has bad monitoring, the bassline is too important and difficult to get spot on in an environment I don't know the sound of, as it is hard for me to mix the bottom end in headphones.

But yes the general idea is correct.
