But there are so many artist around who doing the same. Im just found a video on youtube where Loud presents there new album. Just amazing how they use the magic knob who you can use for almost everything in the track and when you look at ableton then you can see that they just put the tracks in the arrangment view so the bridge between the tracks fits perfect. The importent thing is to raise your hands simultaneously to the beat and the crowd goes crazy.

But i think its the music who is importent and not how they play it live. Of course its more professional when you know how to use ableton but the music will be the same and some people on the dancefloor will not even notice that there already plays the next artist.

Man i know this is not the whole show but its killing me, it seems the talent is on the breaks??!! boring as hell, if this is an hour set there's no possible journey, and they call themselves progressive? BAASSSS HAAARRDDDDD LOL ping ping ping, BASSSSS HARRDDD!
i'm going to see them at Boom but already in a very critical way maybe ill get surprised

Check out the new album "No More X". It has some really long, hypnotic tracks with a lot more depth than the dancefloor-minded breaks you see in this video. Think Hallucinogen/Prometheus meets progressive psytrance and techno and you're halfway there.

And it's quite typical for a promotional video to showcase the KILLARGH breaks. Not saying it's either good or bad, it's just the way it is.

I don't see much "faking" in that video by the way. No unplugged synths/keyboards and effects-machines, they're just playing a bit with the EQ. And who cares if they have their hands in the air? With such a crowd I'm sure I'd be pretty fucking enthusiastic as well!

I don't get why people that spend time in the studio making music, play live sets by just hitting the space bar.
Speaking for my self, I do think that one should at least change things up so that the tunes don't sound exactly as they were released, so that there is something special about the live set VS just DJing your own music for 60-120mins.
And then there is also the just standing on stage, dancing (or not) to the music without interacting with it at all...you do know how to program synths, you do know how import some midi notes in the sequencer, what stops people from putting some extra drum loops, drones, vox/whatever samples, synth lines and play over the tracks is beyond me.

Peace out.

Nectarios over and over you just seem to "get" it. I know some may have a problem with what I'm saying (most do lol) but I don't care. from reading and following many post, you "online" at least seem to have a level and right, about the music approach and view to all of this and for that I give you 2 of these and hopefully I get to catch a live set one day and we can burn one because i dig your music also which makes it better. keep pushing forward brother!!!
peace

i did not say they fake with some synths or controller, it was just of the thread title: this is pure talent.....

i really like the music of them the last album free from conceptual thoughts was really amazing, maybe im just a little bit disapointent when i see how they perform this live. But like i said its all about the music and i would go there and dance too, because when im on party im not interested in how they play just what they play           http://www.facebook.com/synergic

It helps massively to actually plug the synth in if you want to play it

The video is more than 5 years old, get over - live trance set is nearly impossible. Most live shows are a little bit of knob tweaking and playing with some prepared samples.

nah... I like pointing out bad apples and criticizing bad artists of the trance scene in the trance section of a trance forum . You know basically talking about music interests on a music forum.. sorry if that is so inappropriate to you.

Well, this tacky psy video was recorded in the country that gave the world a tacky psy dance to match all the tackiness in the scene: Brazil.

Pointing out bad apples is ok, I just think you should point on more relevant ones than a girl from 5 years ago and has no releases from 2008.
Nothing inappropriate here, she was bashed enough here and its old news.

oh great, the dance police arrived at the scene. the whole point of trance parties is that anyone can dance whatever fuckin way they like.

ps.
i think its amazing how dali could play the synth, sing, dance and light a cigarette and smoke it in the same time. for sure only women djs can do that.

If you can do that dance then you aren't on nearly enough acid.
