Now that i think about it, I don't quite know what we're all arguing about.
It's obvious that:
1. None of us like house music
2. PSYshop is a business and it doesn't seem to be consulting with us about what they sell.
I don't think that there is any reason to divide ourselves into categories such as "extremists" or "conformists". We all pretty much believe in the same thing, but we don't own PSYshop, so i guess they have a right to make their own desicions. If we had any kind of official statement about the issue from the site itself, we could probably have a more concrete debate about it.
Until then, I think it is a bit hasty to claim that "the scene is dead".

well... i dont want to add this subject to the thread but simon is right...
and beside... you are not helping by saying "the scene is going down...ect ect"
well, do something about it.
dovle, if its so bothering you, why dont you write to the oporators of psyshop and tell them how disapointed you are.....
maybe they will listen or give you a good explaination that will make you change your mind...
or they will not answare at all  |

@Trip - how house cd on psyshop cause to open airs parties to sounds house ?? cant get connection.
me also dont want to hear house at open air trance party.

Luiz Paulo explained it the best.... I couldn't read all the answers after because (please excuse me) it was boring me a lot... very childish discussion..
The Cd is distributed by Cosmophilia which remains the most 'powerful' dealer in Europe..
and Cosmophilia doesn't (as far as i know) plan to distribute some Britney Spears' stuff..
So please stop bullshitting because BY THE WAY this Tribal House Cd is far better than some of the pure full-on psytrance released nowadays..
Give it a listen before speaking..

we as a community allways has one thing to be proud (its came from earlier hippie culture) - we like peace.
now if we get a bit smarter we just release there is world around we should respect and be proud of, so peace and cakes to everybody

I guess I'll have to say this for the third time...
the debate I wanted to happen here was to ask you if you all think that a non trance/chill out/goa cd on a trance shop can make the scene loose it's identity and why...instead...the only thing I read on the last two pages from you people is your oppinion on house music and that compilation...
for the last time...IT DOESN'T MATTER IF THEY PUT SOME DNB, OR TECHNO, OR BRITNEY FOR THAT MATTER....the compilation that appeared there is just an example, I don't care what's on it....the thing is that it's not trance/chill or goa...and I wanted to know if you thought that hurts the scene..which I think it does....

Psyshop one of the leading Trance Online Shops that give u a possibility to reach music u want for thousands of ppl around the globe. they do their job for a while now and supposed to be respected by community.
now i ask u - dont u think that disrespecting them in biggest international trance forum hurt and bug them ?? and who is hurt whos here ??

I don't think it hurts the scene !
U know Dovla, I believe that Psytrance is not only a Main Stage with World touring Live-Acts and DeeJays spreading the so awaited Full-on novelties for the (so discussed around here, let's remind) Lovely Crowd...
.. It's also about BackroOms, Second-floOrs, call them Chill Out according to your mOod... U see them ?? Those places where the Energy is also in the air but simply expressed in a different way !
And releases like the one U picked out are excellent tOols for such some places, they are another way to illustrate the Energy and fulfil the SmOoth Dancers that happen (sorry if U can't understand them) to like these Vibrations..
Why coming up against what is only a denomination that can be very blurred (tribal house) ?
Hope to have been as clear as expected..
