i usually forget the chanel up,after the track is "closed" bu the knobs,and then i re-open the knobs in order to beatmatch the next track,and the people are listening the whole eatmatching process heheh
another classic is,if the mixer has more than two channels,to tweak the wrong knobs,and here you got it:2 basslines the same time 
and of course ejecting the wrong cd(who hasnt done this ehhh....
i usually blame the alcohool,so i try to play sober,but what happends if you are the last one in the line up????

I was recording a nice progressive set, and was about 45 minutes into it. I dont use the crossfader, just leave it in the middle, and mix with the volume faders. Soo, there I was 45 minutes into a well planned and so far pretty good set. Im cueing up the next track, listening to both channels, so I cant hear what happens next until I look at the recording program and see a flat line, which means of course silence.
I bumped the crossfader, all the way to the wrong side.
Ejecting the wrong cd, or pressing the cue button while its playing happens sometimes.
there was once, when I brought a track in, and forgot to bring the volume down on the track that was going out. I was listening to the channels, not the master, so I couldnt hear that I was in fact playing both tracks through the master at the same time, beatmatching and everything... After I saw the faders right next to each other, I stopped recording...

well as a matter of fact i hate to see wasted Djs, and the stupid excuses they give, like once: "yeah its hard to mix cause its a mp3" came on, this is the same in every style, in my opinion you should respect the people and give them what they paid for, if you are doing a house warming party ok get wasted but in clubs/outdoors, you should be ashamed, im sorry but i have to say this.... As a dj and as a Punter which go out and pay for a "service"...... I want the dj/artist to give me his best, its like a football match the player has to give their best and not go drunk to the field nah??
My 2cent, hope i dont get people upset...

on one small private party i start rewinding the track that is playing on the speakers.....and you know what.....the people start thinking that the track is maked like that huhu....they never see that i rewind it hehe

I ve heard some terrible mistakes made at parties, like the same track being played by the same guy a few songs apart, I looked around to see if anyone else caught it... Nope. I think djs and producers pay much more attention to little things than the average party-goer.

The most funny thing that happened to me was that i havent noticed that both channels volume was raised to maximum and then i started to catch kick on headphones..and the problem is that everybody heared that... i have noticed it after a minute or so..party ppl didnt understand what happened ..2 tracks playing for them at same time in a mess
