I've said it before, and I'll say it again:
in the year 2003, we begin to see a progressive trance divides itself from full on, knowingly and unknowingly.

In the future this tendency will continue until full on becomes more and more popish and porgressive becomes more and more houseish.

At the end of the process, there will be very few real PSYtrance artists left, and they will create the new wave.

In my opinion the future will bring much more crossover's between many different styles and we will see artists from different corners working together creating music NOT styles

I must agree! It is like always. Nobody can stop the development in the way of music. We will get the biggest crossover and in the end we all will be happy about it.

It is absolutly natural, everbody change his style after a decade of time. But to say what comes as next it`s impossible.

I think music has no limits and all this wave of new artists is one the begining of this whole new era of music. The new wave is what artists r doing today or maybe tomorow.. ... or maybe what ur kids are going to do !!! Really i think this is just the begging of a whole new musical era.... so dont worry, new artists r coming, and the ones we already know are here to stay!!! so expect more and more nice music !! party never ends !!!!

There is always a new wave, even if it's only a receicling of some older one.

But there is so much talk about change lately, and complaining, that I think it shouldn't take long to see some changes coming soon.

Don't know, but hopefully more melodies in one form or another. I would mostly like to hear trance like it was in the genesis of the genre. Before it was divided into club trance and psytrance. Simple technoish structure, repetative melodies, and lots of acid. When it was just 'trance'.          Ut ameris, amabilis esto.

To me it seems like quite a lot of people are hungry for the good old sound of the mid 90's... That is, good old goa. Can't say I'd have anything against that..

new wave .. well indeed it will be a blend of music ...

experimental trance will be next ...
(Imagine an insane mixture of Son Kite and Amon Tobin ... no boundaries )

and organic-techno is slowly coming up .. wicked , abstract noises but still dreamy and extremely dancefloor orientated ...
( just listen to Buzz , phoney ophants)

and last but not least ... gaia-trance very emotional , subtle groovy non-agressive , landscape reflections ... like Freq , True To Nature , Minilogue and Antix ...

as for full-on ... well ummm I just dunno ;-)
