Resonant filter cutoff modulation on a Synched Pulse lead. You can also tweak the second osc pitch to add interesting character to synched leads.

In my opinion it is a sync particular sound... not any synth but one which can synch oscs... like discovery.

I can do a discovery preset, hold on...

Hey bro sorry for the delay I time traveled.

Look Cubase 5 won't export FXP anymore and i dun know how to get the preset out... but i took a screen shot and highlighted the most important things on the patch.

- OSCs must be squares / pulses
- SYNC must be on (RING optional)
- Play with OSC2's pitch so you get it "screaming"
- I let the LFO contol the OSC2 but it could be also manually automated.

Of course a lot in your example has to do with the note placement but the timbre is pretty similar than what you can obtain if you create this patch.

Got any advices for lead mixing?

I like to do stems. I always end up with too loud sounds yet the volume meter tells otherwise. How do i get enough volume for range of 200-2000hz so that the mix is balanced, how to use harmonic exciters correct?
