I think it's basically a saw osc with maybe additional oscs (no much detuned) with unison
This kind of sound results of the choice of filter(s)
For sure it's a combination of two filters like notch and high pass, or formant and high pass

Classic 'talky-synth' sound. There are various ways to get the basic set up (low-pass and high-pass filters linked with lots of resonance), but the key is to modulate the filters with care. Certain notes you want to open and close the filters to give that 'wah' aspect. Either modulate the filters with the mod wheel or grab both knobs and tweak live.
A good saw wave with maybe some noise should do it. Also a synced saw works well (more harmonics). |

cheers guys, although I managed to get a similar sound I coudn't make my synth talk..so I guess I need to spend more time on trying diffferent filters and set up(filters in series or parallel, cut off frequncies..)
thanks

especially highpass filter and a lot of automation on the cutoff is needed
put a small saw, triangle or sine lfo on one osc (i use two oscs for this sound 1 trough highpass and an other trhough FM)
also put a small lfo on the cutoff filter
experiment with the wavemix and the octaves to make the oscs like you want
also a flanger/phaser is handy

Is it that Albino 3 sounds harshy or is just me??
What can you recommend me to do with Albino to make it more fat? I'm talking about leads...

Assuming you're not using all four oscillators just devote one osc to filling out that bottom end. An analog saw wave dropped an octave or two should do it. Then bring up the volume until you have suitable low-end. If you can't make it loud enough, try reducing the volumes of the other osc's and compensating by turning up the main volume. |

| In the matrix you see the F oscillator, route it through the x and z and then to out. |

thats my problem .. i cant figure out how to just route them together ,, meaning that in the matrix there are a lot "slots" where you can link oscillators & a lot of parameters together but routing just oscillators without affecting something else??
How & were exactly ??

Hi people!
Well, im reading this topic for the last 3 days and almost all the links are dead and stuff... No matter... I belive that learn to do is much better than get it ready... The good thing is that i learn a lot here and i would like to thank all of you for sharing your knowledgement... Thanks a lot.
Talking about all this stuff, i use Z3ta+ and this VSTi has a good matrix modulation IMO, but i have a problem... when i create a envelope to assign it to some osc or filter the main sound is affect, even before assign it to somewhere... Some tips about it?
Other thing i found on a MIDI file from a sample cd with some goa stuff is a nice pattern that use 3 scales, the sound is very nice and i belive that its a must to get a good sound... You guys that has made good music, its always used? I mean a pattern like.. If the melody goes on C almost on all the first beat of a meassure (4/4) the note is C2, and melody goes on 2 scales up (C4 up) based on note C, and the last note goes on C3... Looks like the melody has a reinforcement on the main note, and this make a nice movement effect on the music... Should i use it aways, is this a main rule?
If someone could give a invitation code to audionews.ru will be nice too.
