the first one its the kick sound i want to make, the second its my kick, i know that i have to play with pitch envelope over a sine wave, but i cant find good results.
How you do that? is it easyier on wavelab or soundforge? im currently doing it loading a sinewave at 50hz on kontakt and shape it with 2 pitch envelopes

Alias, Thanks for the presets.I'm sure they will be useful. I can study the Operator settings to find out what sort of parameters I can adjust to learn how to make my own kicks from scratch. What parameters should I tweak in the presets in order to produce some nice sounding kicks? I'm completely new to this.
I enjoy the samples you've shared as well. I use them all the time.
Thanks for all of your help Alias. |

Hi Speakafreaka - hope version 2 will reappear at some point, it looks very nice
Just tried out version 1 in sx and it works great [thanks], I also tried your 3 fx plugins which I found very nice also.
Big thanks

Hi there
i was wondering about a kick frequency issue :
it is right that you must cut the duration of a kick just when the first bass note begin, to solve bass-kick conflicts.
Now, kicks which sound loud and "thumpy" with a great impact and great low frequencies are often very long.
So, i tried to cut the end of this kind of kicks to avoid conflict with bass, but all the thumpy effect disappear and the kick sounds bad. I also tried to time-stretch the kick but it sounds also shitty.
So how do you get a faaaaaat kick without bass conflicts ? )
