						| Thank´s! My sampler told me it feels like twenty years younger and is jumping around in joy.

...wait, younger doesn´t really mean quite the same for a sampler! Well, it was probaly me anyway.
 Thank you, really much!

						| Thx 4 kicks :- ) They sound nice
Btw iv'e got a question. Is it a normal thing that many good sounding kicks have a peak at 65 hz and then they fall linear into 22 hz until minimum volume? I ve got some samples kick but most of them is to short or just don't have this popular subpower that we can hear in new productions. The kick seems to be short but accually its not. It makes a deep groove + the bassline. First i thought that this subsound has been made by the bassnotes ... but now i think its the kick. I ve tried to put Rbass or other bassexpander on the kicks - sometimes it works but sometimes it makes to much low freqs and the whole mix looses the power. Do you think there ar some rules for a kick ? - lenght and the last fading out frequencty, what about the maximum peak?

Look at this screenshot. This kick rox the flor. Its not so impulive (laster sound). It starts very soft but then it make a big UuuuuuUu
I also notticed that it has a nonlinear volume haracteristicts - so it must have been equalized. http://www.psytrance.pl/gfx/luz/kick1.gif

 Ok cya ...
I hope to hear some tips or any good theories from all of you. Bye! |

Big thanks to Hummingbird for the webspace and to Pavel who has put most of these samples online some years ago (by now).
