Here's my latest results with bass. Not dark or goa, but I am really pleased with this one. I made it with Rapture. Please any feedback would be nice. Thanks.

I wish I could edit my last post so I don't have to make a new one....
Q. I can't seem to figure out how to put Rapture in monophonic mode. I looked through the manual...Maybe my eyes are bad. I like my bass sound but I want to do some glides. 
Also I read through this topic on bass with Domestic answering questions. It's great! I though I'd link it here for anyone who has not read it yet.

Thanks man. The kick is sampled. It's called "Phanatic" out of "Psyfull Kick Collection" And then I treated it with some EQ. |

Does anyone use the Alien 303 vst plugin for basslines? I've been using it for the past month and it has given me nothing but great results. Has a bunch of psy presets too. Check it out if you haven't I say.
It is really basic but gets the job done for psy basslines. |

il use anything with great filter envelopes and matrix mod controls. alien 303 is ok but i couldnt get on with it. i use sylenth

I think Sylnth has a really great sound for fullon bass. Have you done tutorial online? It's really very descriptive. Right now I am really digging the sound I get from Rapture. All are good tools if you know how to work with them. |
