Ok, so now you have a highpass on the kick (barely doing anything, maybe around 1kHz) and a highpass on the bass (mine usually end up around 900hz).

Er, I got my highpass and lowpass confused here. Lowpass on the kick around 1kHz and a lowpass on the bass around 900Hz.

Stupid terms. Stupid me.

Kick needs some major EQing, especially around the 250-350Hz range. It sits really weird with the bass.

Bass has some nice character, but a little dirty sounding. How much compression are you using?

I'd focus on the kick (maybe a new one) before the bass.

i work with fruityloops 7 and use original fruity loops compressor and EVM bassliner (free ad kvraudio)

compressor : treshold - 6.0 db , ratio 7.7:1 , gain 6.0 db , attack 159.4 ms , release 3000 ms , type hard

its hard to get a nice kick, because i use speakers that caust me 25 euro :s
in fruity loops is no hz to see in eq. maybe i have to find a better one that also displays hz of my kick.

thanks for helping so far

Attack of 159.4ms and a release of 3000ms?

Let's say your track is at 150bpm.

150bpm / 60sec/min = 2.5beatspersecond

2.5bps = 1/2.5 sec per beats = 0.4 seconds per beat.

So every quarter note is .4 seconds, or 400ms.
A 1/16th note would be .1s or 100ms (.4s/4).

Are you compressing the kick and bass together as a group? Compared to the nature of bass and kick notes, your attack/release settings seem very high.

Granted on a bus it may sound to your liking.

Nice one ,it s ok like this , but i think the kick is too boomy /need equing and lack a bit of compression,(i like at the same place as the bassline in the mix and it seems a bit behind, less punchy) it s too bright for my taste ,the brigtness remove the warm and phatness on kick bass,i hope it can help you ,but it was already sounding ok (try a other eq , Q 6 sux for lowend )
