Well, man...

I believe that a big scene is good for everyone that works on it...djs, organizers, producers, decorators, etc etc etc... because this way, this ppl can live with trance, and can dedicate itself for making better parties, bringing good artists (that are quite expensive) and spreading the psychedelia to the ppl... of course it will become more comercial, but the underground parties will always exist... private parties, hidden places, mouth to mouth promotion will keep the roots on the underground, and the big parties will be good to bring new ppl to the scene... of course some of this ppl won´t have anything to do with trance, and will be there just because of the party (good music, good drugs), without getting in contact with the psychedelic culture that exists... I´m not very into this Shiva and Aum stories, but they exist and have some relation with the scene, and other stuff too, not hindi stuff, u know, but party culture.... and this stuff should be respected! And if we want this new ppl to respect it, we have to give them information... they need a source of information to bring something good to parties... or else they´ll just go there looking for nice chicks, and nice drugs, and all this bullshit we run away from.... of course I like chicks and drugs (hehehe), but this is not what trance is all about, right?;) Well... this "new ppl" that will come with the big parties, some of them will like the scene (it´s highly contagious, isn´t it?), will get into this and will not be able to get out of it... and shall stay and bring something good to parties, not only suck the good energy that flows... other ppl will come, suck this nrg and one day will get bored and just go look for something else... good for them, but as big as it gets, with the possibility of having good information (Klatu Barada Nikto is making a small newspaper that I think is helping with this point), and respecting the ppl that is already into this story, we can only win with this, u know... but we have to take care and don´t let the trance scene become famous for its junkies, but for the beautiful and colorful ppl that love music and love to celebrate this music on a beautiful landscape...

wow, sorry for the big msg...

booooom

Brazil has one big advantage over places like England or Israel.

It's a really big country.

Cops will never be able to bust all of the parties, or even a small part of them, since the country is just TOO F***ING BIG for them to chace around party kids and hippies :), they have more important things to do that require a whole lot less work.

Go big, go massive, have huge 5+ day festivals, make your home the home of trance as well. Just have as much fun as you can! :)

I don't think police will ever be problem here in Brazil, cause the coruption is rampant and they're paid to not get into the parties, in fact there's always a police car in front of the parties. They ain't here to fuck the party, but to solve any problem the organizers have with fights in the party and such things. At least this is how it works here in Rio de Janeiro, I don't know how it works in Sao Paulo.

Dude...this time have passed.... 5, 6 years ago, foreigners used to come to Bahia (Trancoso) and do this...now we don´t suffer from this "predatory trance" any longer... that´s my 2 cents...

well...I don´t think it´s completely over, pal, but anyway, if someone fucked up with the scene in Bahia it was the brazilian posers up there, not the foreigners...
