oh so you mean the majority of people likes minimal so we should just stop making anything to please the minority? bullshitto.

what i've noticed is that the people that are really into the scene - producers, DJs, promoters... they're catching the minimal wave. they're so into it that maybe they got sick of the classic goa sound... but go talk to the party people and what do you hear? "WHERE'S THE DAMN MELODY!!!" the common complaint i heard from the morocco NYE party, VOOV, and Boom last year was that most of the music got a bit boring but when the classic tunes came on the dancefloor filled right up! well think about it people - there is a reason the partiers are into THIS scene and NOT house or techno or progressive [though some might do it all] so why not respect that and continue to let people enjoy themselves with the music they love??

i love goa because it is different than all the rest... so why try to homogenize and make it sound more like standard electronic music fare? it doesnt make sense to me... but people will enjoy that too so that's fine... but i draw the line at narrow-minded people who can't see past next month and "whats new" and the "next big thing"... good music = good music, forever

Hey, I don't hear goa at parties, I want the 3d vision lovers to suffer too :)

People got bored of goa, so now we don't hear it at parties. I think that the 3dvision sound has been WAY overplayed, and if people that love the 3dvision sound keep on telling me "goa was overplayed man", well, they should get a taste of their own medicine.

It's not that I'm a minimal fan at heart (I think goa is so much more interesting), and it's not that I hate the 3dvision sound (on the contrary, I just heard it way too much), it's just that you can't hear the same thing over, and over, and over again, and not expect the music to evolve.

I'm not saying "move to minimal", I think minimal is starting to lose it's charm as well, I'm saying "it really, REALLY is time to move on with the sound".

i want little bit correct myself and explain my point of view...

I actually don't like "meat" staff-
boring boom boom boom, noisy-fast-soul-less...
I don't like gms, talamasca (new) and similar ..
Music that created to make u tired with no personal high-state satisfaction but only in the level of muscules and speeds.
To dance faster, higher, scooter;)
3d vision just follows that
i don't compare, but the effect happening at dance floors from this music similar to floor effect caused by nitzhonot...
atraf, crazy crazy atraf, look at someone's eyes when he dances, i never saw "smiles" (if u know what i mean)
Can you close your eyes and really enjoy it, dancing like you want, playing with your own mind?
I don't have anything against this music and all above this is only my oppinion, and sure i like sometime listen to gms (welcome to the medievel times bah!!!!;););)
But only when it right in the place and not too much of it.
I like space travels and not space races,
and sure this ain't style of trance i put above the rest i really love.

respect!
