ozen my friend...
sure there r some hard slaps on the way (experienced some on my own skin), but this is the only way to find the right ppl to work with.

a nature of an artist/dj is to play the music to ppl... to spred it as much as he can.
i stoped counting the times i played for free and will play for free in the future... mixing is like metitation for me, the money is only a bonus...

those guys who did u these ugly thing r businessman... no other word for that.

and im sure u dont wanna work with boring narrow minded businessmans

if you want to be rich, u`ve got to be a bitch!

it sounds like yu guys think artists are bad people for taking money. well forgive me for stating the obvious but studios, equipment, rent, food etc cost a lot. especially if you don't have a regular robot job that brings in a tidy little packet of bio survival security tickets. have yu asked where this money is coming from? before blaming the sucker artist (who probably became a musician in the first place in search of an easy life or just pure laziness!)who is too easily tempted consider the dodgy promoter so intent on taking out the competition they would pay money to have an artist not perform in their area or even country! the artists i have known in general have loyalty to their music and in turn are pretty good to their fans. even those who are in no mood to fly away from home for the millionth time have turned down offers of more money to stay put in order to screw a rival promoter so as not to disappoint their fans. don't make the mistake of thinking that an artist owes yu just because yu like(d) their music. money may be *just a bonus* to some but it is a livelihood to others. it is a sick business indeed but if someone offered yu free money and someone else offered yu money yu had to werk for that would not make yu stupid for weighing your options. it's all very well to keep the vibe alive but it won't feed your kids/pot habit/whatever. i understand people are disappointed and without cd buying listeners (downloaders have no right to harangue i reckon) there would be no livelihood in music but artists are not your performing monkeys...look to the organ grinder i say! *rant over* let the love shine through xxx           In the depth of my soul there is a wordless song.

sorry bout that rant guys....and old sore was opened. guess i didn't really pay attention to your story and saw only red from a previous forum debacle. seems some people are in it for the business and others for the music. together i hope we can find a peaceful way of making the planet sing and dance. xxx           In the depth of my soul there is a wordless song.
