Hello guys,
I want to share with you some thing that piss me so much, let say that your are an artist and let say that I booked you for a gig and let say that another ppl that doing a party will call you day before my party and ask you not to come and play my party and for that you can sit at home and get double money from that. what do you do??

1.put a greedy smile on your face and accept the offer

2.be a human person and denied the offer with no questions

I know personally a few artist that chose the first opinion, this is worst and unpro behaiver this is the ugly face of some artists in the israely trance scene and it happened to my closest friends,
I don’t want to write here names but who that did it will read it here I'm sure some of them are members here, some of them running the almost biggest label here in Israel,
And some of them used to be a dearvfriend of mine until successes are fill their head rised their nose and make them lost the rational thinking and spirit that this kind of music is present or used to.

and also I don't understand why would you pay an artist that never played in your party? I wouldn't...

dj_o.zen,
I agree with you that a true artist shouldn't behave this way. Unfortunately this is something that occurs more often that we'd like to see in the oranization of Trance parties. I often wonder how organizers could seek to destroy other organizer's productions, or how an artist could go back on his word, but some people just don't have integrity. I'm sorry to read about the experience you and your friends went through, but the best thing is to try not to take it to heart. It's dissapointing but try not to spend too much time being upset, keep focusing your energy on positive things, don't give up. I also believe that when it comes to bad energies like the ones you're upset at, what goes around comes around...even if it looks like they've won this round.

Hey Oded...
Unfortunately I know who are these artists you are talking about. It's a damn shame cause everybody think they are gods in Israel. If they only knew how dirty they can play...
It is disgusting to see such behaviour, and these artists are erased from my address book as artists (not that they were considered by me as artists before that incident).

It only shows you these people (so called artists) are not true artists in their spirit, but just money makers.           Majority is never right!

Hey dude

Don’t get upset.
From any incident in life there is some thing to learn.

This lesson is about the little papers called contract.

When I’m booked for a gig i insist we'll have one.
it doesn't have to be full of shit like Lawyers write, just a simple note that says who r the sides, what is agreed and might happened if the agreement is dishonored.

Believe me that no one will walk out on u after you/him got a paper signed!

So, next time..............

Thats why its good to sign a contract with the artists before an event

And yes some artists really suck and do nasty things like that.

And its not only an israeli phenomenon, its a global one.I try to book artists from all around the world for my events and sometimes i have people asking me to get payed 5000 euros for a live act (while their usual fee is 3000) to play for me because they are working with another organisation but they wouldnt mind getting payed more and start working with me.I mean this kind of attitude sucks.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

I'm not so surprised, since I claim for a long time now than too many artists making the money instead of the music spirit....           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

the label i was talking about did signed a contract but he did it with the other side and the contarct was about not send his artist to play in any other party at the area beside his(party org.)
it's now the second label that done that with him.

Oded,
Why do you need these kind of artists & DJs at your parties?

There are quite a few nice ones I know of here that will never do something like that, and probably play even better.

Work with the good ones, it'll be good.           ---------------------------------------------

Shahar, I'm sure he did not know they were like this when he made the booking.
Althouhg by the music the play and the way they are so full of themselves, you could guess, but still...
