yeah but at a roadside check, and especially one with dog it doesnt matter if you look like Ziggy Marley or Bill Gates
if your carrying your going to have some trouble. This is disturbing news actually.
Police forces in other countries have used these tactics for years. Not always with dogs, but the idea has been around for a long time none the less. However roadside checks inbound to venues ive never heard of in the states. I know police forces often step up patrols in event areas, and its not been uncommon to see a DUI checkpoint after a event on its outflow, but this is rather new and something i think we should all pay attention to.

@ Acidity..How do dealers look??:) lol..is there a sketch you have I can try not to be..
people are prone to making some mistake or the other which lands them in trouble..been there seen that..
Knowledge is power..and its naive to think that cops cant make up probable cause as they go along..to start a search..Be smart.

ultimately, there is little cause for concern if you're not doing anything wrong. We have good rapport with the folks in the area, and we are generally left alone.
Granted the article is targeting NW Wisko, however, these kinds of activities are going on nationwide, and you shouldn't have to read about it on the internet for you to take it seriously. This article should serve as a warning to every party organizer and party-goer, not just those limited to the demographic in the article.
Think about the party in the article itself... Do you think that THEY had any warning? I am guessing not. It can happen to anyone, anytime, any reason.

Yes.. 1-7 AM Friday.. 2 x 3 hour slots.. then they fly out to Austin.
