Also since i started that "how to bass" topic, i guess it'd be nice to hear some opinions on the sound itself... I don't know really. Maybe i'm just exhausted from hearing the same sound for hours.

ur bass needs bass. its playing a G3 note (while C4 is middle C (some ppl love to argue about where middle C is).
What i mean with that is that its playing one octave higher than the normal G people choose for a psy bassline. So of course theres a lack of oomph when the rootnote is at about 100hz and nothing is below. but then again nobody stops u from adding a sinewave for the missing bottomend
:O!

Well, is it the KICK or the BASS that needs more bass, that is MY question.
either one of them, but best not to feel tempted to have both for typical 3 note rolling psytrance bass lines.

I re-sculpted both kick and my bass, did i just fall into the trap you were mentioning? Hahah, i still lowered the frequencies in the bass, where the Kick needs some peaks. Just so the sounds are "taking care" of each other.
Edit: this also counts as a yes/no
Also i have a kind of phobia to using kicks that are this "rude" but it adds energy that's for sure. http://soundcloud.com/li-fe
I said I like it dirty, not muddy.
