WE WANT TO APOLOGISE TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU WHO WANTED TO COME TO THE PARTY AND HAVE FUN.
MOST SINCERE APOLOGIES TO THE DJs AND TO EVERYONE THAT HELPED US AND MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR US TO REACH THE GATES OF POLYTEXNEIOUPOLH.
ONLY 10 METERS BEYOND THE GATES TO BE EXACT BEFORE THE GUARDS THREW US OUT.
THE PRYTANHS ISSUED SPECIFIC ORDERS NOT ALLOWING SOUND VANS TO ENTER THE POLYTEXNEIOUPOLH PREMISES.
FROM NOW ON IT IS FORBIDDEN!!!
TO PREVENT OUR VAN TO ENTER THE POLYTEXNEIOUPOLH THE GUARDS HAD TO CLOSE THE GATES NOT ALLOWING ANY VEHICLE TO ENTER IN OR LEAVE THE POLYTEXNEIOUPOLH.
THERE WERE AT LEAST 30 CARS TRAPPED INSIDE THE POLYTEXNEIOUPOLH FOR MORE THAN 2 HOURS.

Donald dont confuse democracy with anarchy.
In democracy your rights end where the other persons rights begin.Not everybody is free to do what he likes wherever he likes.
In the last couple of years the Polytechnioupoli rights have been violated many many times,it was about time someone did something about it and since Prytanis is the person responsible for the university he has every right to protect the place from everyone who wants to transform the place into a club every Saturday night.Who is going to pay for last weekends damages in the place by the way?The Prytanis did good and it was about time some action was taken,after all i guess you had no permission for a party there so i dont know how can you blame the person responsible for the university for not allowing you to have a party there.
You want to organise a free party on Saturday night?Good either rent a club or a beach bar,go to the forest or the mountain,go at your home or eksoxiko,go wherever you like i dont know why Polytexnioupoli is the only place for free parties in Athens.Oh sorry i forgot its the only place where the cops cant bust you....
With all the respect to The Others and every other organisation this was going to happen sooner or later and its not the Prytanis fault.The fault is shared between the organisers who on a weekly basis transformed the place into a night club and not only that but they couldnt protect it so damages were happening on a regular basis.
This is what happens when there is exploitation and disrespect of one place,if there was one party a month taking place at Polytechnioupoli,like it was in the past,this would have never happened,but now that a party was taking place there every weekend some people got irritated,and for a good reason,and they decided to take some action.
Hope that now that the place is lost you will appreciate it and respect it a little bit more.Maybe its better for everyone this way.

detox its a very big subject to closet at the statement that "democracy end....rights begin"
i can give you a 1000 of examples that democracy go away without any excuse and for more important thing in our life then the party.
i m not talking about you personally but if you want to protect democracy do it and fight for your survive
and at the end i want you to ask one thing....
you are against of all the events and partys from any kind of music?
i dont give a fuck who is the organizer or what ideas wont to promote, here we are talking for some rights that some ppl gave their blood to have it nowdays and you cant hide(not you) behind some stupid 18 old ppl that finally want to express their angry.
look what they teach(???) inside the polytechnioupoly,how the things work in general in our life and then tell me who fuck democracy first.
...hope that you got my point of view....

Donald i certainly got your point of view mate but like you can understand if an organiser cant protect the place (whoever that organiser is) then its better for him not to continue throwing parties there because one days something bad is going to happen.The Prytanis after last weeks damages decided to protect the place (he is the only one authorised after all to do that) so noone cant accuse him about anything,the accusations are between the organisers now and not between the authorities.
Psy Trip we dont have ipia xounta in Greece,we have extended bureaucracy which is unfortunately even worse,even if you need a certificate of death from the Mayor you got to pay something in order to get it (ladoma) in the right time,money moves the world around in our days unfortunately.
Kapsis i didnt only mentioned clubs,i mentioned many other places so dont just stick on that.
Like Dark Elf and Nick said you cant expect the authorities to ignore everything all the time,one days someone was going to do something about it and this time finally came i guess.Like i said maybe its better for everyone this way.
P.S Kostaxxx man not only you said a lie on the Atmos party which you never answered about it when i asked you but you keep following my posts and making ironic comments about them,and by the way i am not the one opening these polytechnioupoli discussions and for sure i am not the only one participating in them so if accuse me of getting involved in them all the time then you can accuse half the forum for doing the same,instead of making ironic comments i suggest to say something constructive if you have and if you can.

the piont is and mistake is that people in athens
10 years now take sides on promoters and get in a piont
that no 1 respects each other and all fight so when
ure in a place that is not a party area, no 1 will respect
the place if they dont like mabe the orginizer , so
wake up and unite in trance cose 15 years ago there was unity then after it was broken and today u see 3 parties same night and each other with a problem and people killing each other if u liked to make in poli which for me wasnt the best solution 5 promoter that make there sould haver talked and taked messures in safty, and u cant blame 1 promoter for this happing its every 1 folt, u cant want thing and not try to keep them orginized, no 1 is god , as juno says god is god
and people are people so people like to work toghether u can learn to save trouble if not in the mess and catastrofy, i want to see cose when cyberfunk stoped and i started same thing sthem messes eevry were,cops fights today same but with more cover ups, so i want to see when u all get that trance was a free conect to dance and free ure mind
and share ure thoughts ,not be king of the world....
u all ways coplain of what has happened
they locked politenupoli or i cant make party there ,people are not stupid they can see
what is going on, why dont u stop posting why it happened and prevent things from happeing,with out posts and make moves... |

Mike, we know your opinion about the free parties at University long ago from your posts everywhere about this issue.
For some of your opinions, i agree, for some i disagree...
but is quiet boring to repeat the same and same things everywhere is a University party topic!!

I also get bored of reading about the bad prytanis and the cancelled parties and the damages in polytechnioupoly all the time but i dont complain when people post about them
