Cool! i've saw Act.Sense doing something similar with setup like this
But they had the 2 abletons midiclocked tru wireless network wich gives you a little more easy but gives you more freedom in a way i guess.
I work like this on a single laptop and now working on replacing some sequences in my track with a hardware synth. Let ableton play a loop of a sequence and send it to a virus or something and tweak the synth itself. and offcourse cut tracks in loops and mix like that.

WOW!!!! Man this is definitely one of the best set ups I have seen, the percussion really adds energy and spontaneity to the set.
